Yamisonic Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 (edited) Well? I know of some pretty stupid things that have happened to bandsFrom the top of my head, once I was playing with my band at some school events, there were about 400 peopleAnd I forgot to plug my guitar properly, so the plug fell off.. I didn't know what the fuck had happened for about 30 seconds, because I was so nervousI've got a video of it, it's pathetic Edited August 2, 2007 by Yamisonic Quote
DopeSickGirl Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 I once got my tuning pegs all tangled up in wires on a low ceiling at a club. Was rather embarrassing I must say coz I carried on playing - I just pretty much had my bass above my head and was bouncing around trying to un-hook it! Must have just looked like I was pogo-ing.. Or so I'd like to hope.. xDSGx Quote
axl_rose_gnr Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 The singer in my mates band.. somehow managed to turn the mic off when he was singing.. man that was pretty embarrasing for him..Thing is he's known for his stupidity.. We gave him a lot of stick about that Quote
Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789 Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 (edited) Lucinda Williams interrupted three of her songs in order to start them over when I saw her last week.I played a show about two hours from home once, and the bass player forgot his bass. Of all the misfortunes that have surrounded my work, that's the most ridiculous I can think of. Edited August 2, 2007 by Ohdistortedsmile1789 Quote
kevdo242 Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 With my band, we've had normal mishaps of untuned guitars, misjudging vocal abilities and drummers accidentally throwing drumsticks during songs. At Bowling For Soup, I saw an inflatable sheep give birth. True story. Quote

tat2d1 Posted August 2, 2007 Posted August 2, 2007 Once when i saw Great White, they did Once Bitten Twice Shy, but Jack's mic had come unplugged or something cause there were no vocals. They got 3/4ths through the song before they realized what was going on, and started the song over. Quote

pain cake Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 A year ago at our school battle of the bands I was busting out and during a very specific run I wasn't quite 100% natural with my strap comes loose and *BOOM* guitar hits the ground and becomes untuned...manage to get it back on and tune back up slightly but i backed the fuck up cause i was so damn embaressed... was such a good solo too Quote
