  1. better version of 16 sec "check mate"

Its sounds brilliant so far cant wait for the full version
  2. Discuss the new guitarist.... Ron Thal!

I cant believe those who no nothing about guitar think ron thal is better than buckethead, thal is an everage ok shredder, bucketheda is leagues ahead and far more creative
  3. finck n fortus's guitar tones suit gnr?

Man that was Buckethead did that soundtrack not Robin Finck (the untalented)
  4. The Eddie Trunk Discussion Topic

I heard this nightrain of the new guitarist playing and i could have sware it was Michael Angelo I actually hope its buckethead without the mask lol
  5. finck n fortus's guitar tones suit gnr?

Yeah i totally agree. Robin and Richard are good but i dont think they are in the same league as slash and buckethead. I think Axl could have gotten much better than Robin and Richard, he could have got the likes of zakk wylde or nuno bettencourt
  6. finck n fortus's guitar tones suit gnr?

we dont even know if Richard's still in the band and apparently there auditioning more ppl alkingMetal.com has posted episode 60 of their "Talking Metal" podcast. The episode features a 15-minute interview hosts Mark Strigl and John Ostronomy conducted with ANTHRAX and DAMNOCRACY guitarist Scott Ian. Interview topics include VH1 "SuperGroup", a new ANTHRAX album, Katee Sackoff, "Battlestar Galactica", and the SciFi Channel. Additional podcast topics include VH1 "Rock Honors" and their Air to the Throne contest, Richard Fortus, Honky Toast, Sean Baker, and rumors regarding[san Francisco guitarist Brian Kehoe's apparent recent audition for GUNS N' ROSES. The 45-minute podcast can be downloaded at this location. iTunes users can also subscribe to "Talking Metal" for free at this location
  7. When will Axl hit the stage

dosent he get up about 7 get outta bed around 9 get on the bus about 11 sipping a drink n keeping fine
  8. whats up with richard fortus and robin fincks guitar tones they seriously dont suit guns n roses. Finck uses great equipment n still manages to produce that awfull sound. Richards tone is also very similar when 2 guitar players in a band should have completly different settings. buckethead a great tone, slash had great tone. Axl need to wise them up i think finck is terribly attempting to be like david gilmour at times when he aint in that league.
  9. richard has removed the tour dates from his site

Isnt it obvious if fortus has taken off the tour dates and has 1 particular date on there that clashes with the nova festival he is obviously out and if they are replaceing him with this graig guy they are getting a better guitar player more capable of playing bucketheads parts than fortus so it would make sense
  10. Maybe Robin will take over as lead guitarist for GNR

LOOK PPL FOR ANYONN WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT GUITAR PLAYING AND SOLOING ROBIN FINCK IS BELOW AVERAGE, HE USES GREAT EQUIPMENT BUT STILL MANAGES TO PRODUCE A TERRIBLE GUITAR TONE THAT HAS NOTHING ON SLASH OR BUCKETHEAD IF THERE GONNA STICK WITH JUST FINCK N FORTUS FORTUS SHOULD BE THE MAIN LEAD PLAYER. THEY WILL BADLY MISS BUCKETHEAD CAUSE HE IS A PURE GENIUS ON GUITAR AND DONT FOR A SECOND THINK HE IS ONLI A MINDLESS SHREDDER LISTEN TO HIS ALBUMS COLMA,POPULATION OVERDRIVE AND ELECTRIC TEARS. ON THOSE ALBUMS THERE IS NO SHRED , JUST BRILLAINT BLUES, MYSTERYNESS GUITARING AND DAVID GILMOUR ESQUE SOUNDS.
