IllusionUser
For about the same price you can buy a used soundcard and have digital quality recording with unlimited tracks instead of 1/16th inch analog and 4 tracks.
pewing33ny
i bought a fostex mr-8 at a pawn shop for $160 although you can get them on ebay all day for $200. i would advise against cassette, it seems like a good idea for analog warmth but it's just a pain to edit everything. life_247
Also if you want to add drums its hard. Get a M-audio delta 44 sound card it comes with reason and abelton live plus some samples. If you want to hear the quality, i record with it so:www.soundclick.com/gavincampbellIve also got a tascam 4 track, there ok but the build quality aint to shout about and nor are the features.
