Fantastic show. Chock full o' Zeppelin, at least 7 or 8 tunes. His solo stuff is outstanding, and the musicianship in his band is unbelievable. He indeed does look old, but he still has it, and his voice is great. His band only brings out the best in him.

I saw him a week ago,but it was a big show with many artists so he didn't play many songs. First off, his solo stuff is great,al though to me it didn't seem as if he pushed himself too much, I was thinking maybe he had lost his voice, but still great songs. But at the end of their set, they plaed Whole Lotta Love, it was killer and he proved that he can still sing, so you should look forward to the concert, and as DirtyDeeds said, the musicianship in his band is at a high level

HEY!!

The concert on Sunday was amazing...quite an exhilerating experience and worth every penny of the 75$ i spent for the ticket :D

The Setlist went like this:

1.No Quarter

2.Shine it All Around

3.Black Dog

4.Freedom Fries

5.Tin Pan Valley

6.The Mighty Rearranger

7.Heartbreaker

8.Mountain Dew

9.That's the Way

10.When the Levee Breaks

end of first part =====

11.Babe I'm Gonna Leave You

12.The Enchanter

13.Gallows Pole (!)

14.Whole Lotta Love

I'm not exactly sure of the order...but those are the songs.

All of the new songs were reworked by the band (except WLL) The song that probably didn't work very good was black dog because they replaced that timeless riff with chords...but then again...they had 2 guitarists so i guess it was needed. No Quarter had a tribal/bongo feel to it with minimal guitar influence...mountain dew rocked so hard...i was certainly suprised by the energy in the Dead song...another suprise was an ACOUSTIC version of When the Levee Breaks!!! it brought the house down on the first part...what was really great was how they started out with acoustic guitars and bongo drums and by the end of the song it was pure riff rock candy  GALLOWS POLE made a suprise as a deviant from the setlists i heard from the european tour...that one, by the end, was quite exhilerating...the songs from the new album sounded good, tin pan valley was probably the heaviest but he had trouble with the mic/soundsystem in the middle so it didn't come out as good as it could have...but that's all right...it still rocked. Whole Lotta Love was the best of the night and an amazing way to end the night...they pretty much kept the original format with the inclusion of tribal-influenced bongos during the middle drum solo.

Robert looked pretty good...he was jumping all over the stage and really got into the songs he was singing...quite a performance. Justen Adams also had great stage prescense with his indian-influenced dancing on stage...the band was very tight and worked as truly a cohesive group.

aside from them not playing dancing in heaven :( it was an excellent concert and i'd recommend it to anyone :)

9.5/10
