Hello everyone! 

My name is Pete. It's been about 12 years since I've been on this forum, but some key moments of my childhood revolved around Guns n' Roses and this forum. 

I don't recognize many names here anymore, but when I heard about everything that's going on I wanted to get in here and show my support for all of you. 

I used to get goofed on for being a big fan of GNR while also being a mega Grateful Dead addict. Well in this case I think it comes in handy. 

The Deadhead community dealt with a situation similar to this (minus the threats) in the early 2000s when all the previously free for all soundboard recordings were removed entirely from the internet. In that case, however, bassist Phil Lesh immediately addressed it to fans, even joining forums to explain the surviving band members reasons for it. 

I too am pretty shocked that the only reaction from Guns was "Maybe you shouldn't have been doing an illegal thing." So much for being the worlds most dangerous band. 

Im nostalgic as hell just being here, and again just want to express my support.

From hearing IRS on the radio the other night, I am beginning to think that Chinese Democracy will be a hell of an album. I bet the talk of it being highly electronic and industrial is all exaggerated. Im sure Axl using some of those techniques, but i know this album is gonna ROCK. I sure hope it comes out at the right time with the right type of promotion because id like to see some real fucking music on the charts soon.

Last night someone called me up to tell me that 97.9 was playing a new Guns N Roses song. I turned it on and sure enough, it was some of the best sounding shit ive ever heard. Axls voice was absolutely ridiculous and the guitar solo was face melting. the DJ said the track arrived in an unlabeled brown envelope. ive been gone for a while, but hearing those tracks really made me wanna come back an post on this forum.

When/If a new tour starts, where do you think Guns will kick it off?

Im sure more info will surface in time. PATIENCE..............

If ever there is a new tour it should be where the last one ended

are you guys wasted? the tour ended a long long  time ago
