Was that a Wild Horses intro btw or am I mixing up 70s songs in my head?
Nod, it was Wild Horses.

Hopefully it was a shake up from the people paying for management. Accountability seems sleight in the Guns N' Roses camp.

Did anybody actually get beyond a half hour of this footage? Between the panel and Del James himself, it's insufferable.
It's scary how much Del will self-deprecate in trying to please the GNR camp.
He's being paid, it's simple. I get paid to say my boss is right, so does he.
I don't get paid for work I did 20 years ago, if only. GN'R is a product, a product I have, and will pay to see and hear now and in the future because it entertains me.
I read a marvel comic once, now I'm watching movies with different character arcs and story lines, familar?
Peace, just go see the shows, if new music happens, great, if not, get your CDs out when you feel nostalgic.

I would hassle the guy at local store regularly as to when the records were released, back then apart from magazines we had no idea, the internet wasn't there.
Finally one day the guy (who had a great mullet) sold me my UYI CDs and Vinyl copies, the vinyls stay sealed even now, UYI 1 was ripped slightly in a house move .
Listening to those songs for the first time was both surprising and shocking, but in a good way, it was nice to not have any expectations.
I always felt up front UYI 2 was easier to listen to, but looking back it's a hard thing to dislike either album..my 2c.

How about Tasmania! We flew over to Sydney in '10. (Me and Mrs, not the whole population, ) Would struggle, but do it again, but it would be so much easier if they'd come down here!
Do you lot get many big shows down there? I know you get the occasional boxing match but how about concerts?
Lenny Kravitz is playing here end of March with Wolfmother and the Cranberries. The bigger bands usually skip due to shipping costs etc. AC/DC played a sports ground in 2001, noise complaints were received from both sides of the Derwent river (up to 17km away).
+ 1 for a GN'R Tassie stop over, the beer is on me

Enjoy, really wanted to be there, keep the updates coming!

How were the pre-sales organised for the US concerts? it'd be nice for it to be done for the Australian shows..
Yeah that would be great to know.
Yeah, is it something we can get the board admins to contact the promoter directly? or was it set up with band management? I'm paranoid about missing out on a melbourne ticket...

To quote a famous movie (guest starring GN'R ):
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one...At the 2 a.m. curtain call, Rose said he'd soldier onward for the fans despite the dirt bag write-ups he alwaysgets. And so he should.
^^^
As long as that remains true it doesn't matter what anyone writes...they're playing for us, the fans. rock1

How can anyone with half a brain point the finger of blame at the die hard fans that have been shit on for 15 years? Axl showing up to half empty concerts playing the old members material, wow, that's fucking impressive of you Axl, how do you do it?
How the fuck have you been shit on for 15 years? you need to qualify that statement mate because it really doesn't make sense.
-
3. Why does it take 15 years to make an album?
You've been waiting 15 years buddy..GET A FUCKING LIFE.
-
i wouldnt be surprised if axl has either invested in/opened his own small pressing facilities in separate parts of the US. This is a relatively cheap thing to do for a rich fucker like axl, especially if he has some other rich friends to help him out. He could also profit from it in the long run.
Pass the crack pipe...

Well said, many thanks to all, it's very much appreciated.

Enjoy, look forward to the updates!

If you're 35, I am sure you would know that grown-ups don't give a damn about a 35 year old man who dissagrees with an article about his favourite rock band.
Bah, please find the nearest "grown-up" and tell him you're lost.
Speak your minds guys, rock1

Of course can´t be the classic ones ... no way.
haha, you escaped from your cage again?
-
I know everybody is going to kill me for this but i don´t like these songs. You can not compare this songs (i know are demos) with the classic ones, these songs are not good even as B-side songs. Everybody is amazed with all Axl does but be critical ... can´t compare Think about you, Nightrain, WTTJ, YCBM, NR, RNDTH, Don´t cry, Patiente etc etc etc with these ones...
A friend of mine who plays in a rock band and it´s a GNR fan since 1988 listened the songs with me yesterday (He is not a hardcore fan) and asked me "how long take you waiting for this?" ... just a thought.
We are so excited about Axl that sometimes we can´t be realistic ... IRS is a very simple song ... so SOFT ... almost like a pop song, it repeats every part of the song a lot of times ... you listen three times the song and you are pissed about it. And Axl doesn`t realise that he must sing not so high ... he sounds like a gay being penetrated by ass ... i love the way Axl used to sing ... not so high like now.
Better is a "better" song than IRS but it sounds really Nu-metal song ... nothing really special.
I really want CD out but i cross my fingers for these songs don´t be inside the cd and the big guns be something much much much better.
Well here's an idea, don't buy the album fuckhead, go home!
-
No, the songs are great but thinking about all the times people killed here for some demos makes it look real bleak.
heh, not sure the time people spent here is a factor..the songs rock, and in full studio form will take gnr to the next level (again)..good times.

I started listening to released stuff (even more) flat out again
Bring on the album...
