Right, I've been thinking about this and I believe the song was Rhiad & The Bedouins. He said something about how he thinks he sucks at singing it.
I could still be wrong though!
If it's Rhiad & The Bedouins I will be dissapointed. That song is not new, and it's blows hard.
It only sounds like shit because
a.) the bootlegs circulating suck
b.) the song wasn't finished in 2002
your wrong Rhiad & The Bedouins was finished
To quote Lars Ulrich from the 'Some Kind Of Monster' film:-
"When is a song fucking done?"
well you know in 2002 axl play the full song of Rhiad & The Bedouins and i kind of like that song
So do I, it's actually one of my faves out of the new stuff we have heard. rock1

I'm glad I didn't see GN'R this year. Cause that would've meant I would've seen BFMV twice this year since they're opening for Iron Maiden too.
I thought Trivium were opening for Maiden this year, or is that only in the UK?

sweet!! london - im there!
so no pre sale this time? thats gonna be a scrabble for tickets!
If you have signed up at Get Live or Ticket Rush, you'll probably get offered a pre-sale a day or two before the 'official' on sale day.

The awards get dished out the day after their appearance at Donington...

Off topic: i think we might get a release date to morrow
On topic: i smell a BIG TIME April hoax all the way down.........
Sorry folks, but the date and shit is just playing whit our minds.
If it is an April Fool's then it has been in the pipeline for over a month.
Guns were advertised in the last issue of Classic Rock as being in this month's magazine.

I just text my mate about this (who works at ticketmaster) and I asked him to keep his eyes out. He responded straight away and told me it was strange because they are trying to get extra staff in on friday as they are going to be selling tickets for an event yet to be confirmed.
Billy Joel's latest tour has been announced this evening, and there is the possibility that the Leeds/Reading festival line-up will be announced this Friday, thus resulting in tickets going on sale.

I'd be interested to know 'how in the works' this is as no concert venue in London has applied for a licence for GN'R.

Trent insulted Axl in the past. He said that Axl was bold and GNR were dinosaurs.
I can't see these bands doing shows together.
Trent couldnt hold Axls jock strap
Different universe when it comes to music
Trents a wannabe
Do yourself a favour and purchase a copy of 'The Downward Spiral'.

Hopefully bucket is joining NIN. Might spice up thei next album cos the last one was pretty much yawn city.
Trent Reznor is NIN.
He does 95% of everything on all the records. At least.
If Buckethead was to join it would be as a member of Trent's touring band.
And to be honest, Buckethead's style doesn't fit NIN's music.
-
1) Aaron has had the bandana in his trouser thing since before he joined NIN.
2) If GN'R and NIN play together, unless Axl is 110% confident of the ability of his band, he would be best advised to open the show. NIN are the best live act on the planet right now.
3) I doubt Trent is still hacked off at Robin as he has already stated that Aaron 'pisses all over Robin's shoes.'
I'm guessing Trent is just winding people up.

support Axl
in 2006
I am outright disgusted by the approval for a fucking junkie like Scott Weeeedland on this fucking board. He's a spineless piece of shit, a "fraud" and if you can't stand behind the man we all love and respect for keeping the GNR legacy going, then go toa fucking velvet revolver board and let the real fans support their band in peace. we dont need this bullshit. In my book, anyone who partakes in drugs at any point, be they illegal or pharmaceutical, is a junkie. So Axl is in the same boat as Scott.
And those of us who supported Guns from the start, who could be considered 'the real fans', only have VR to follow because Axl is moving at a snails pace.

Bohemian Rhapsody has always sucked. I only heard a good version once...it was when Axl sang on that concert and gave his tiger edge to it with his voice...otherwise than that Bohemian Rhapsody is lame mainstream, childish naive rock made mostly for children and those who have no clue...that song is yucky.

have you never listened to TSI?
They were cover versions.
And if anybody honestly thinks that that song is better than the likes of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'A Day In The Life', you are obviously on the same drugs Axl was on when he wrote the song.

That stand alongside 'My World' as the worst track Guns have ever done.
Truly bloody awful.
'The Most Dangerous Band In The World'?
shut up
its really old school english rock, but its better than any other song that Queen or Beatles have ever made.
Have you ever listened to Queen or The Beatles?

I thought it was John Bonham

This only happened a couple of days ago.

Mettalica have confired to be the headliners!
Doubt Gn'R will show in that case.
/waits for the day Gn'R and VR attend the same venue
GN'R would simply play on a day that Metallica aren't there.
