The first few songs from CD to Estranged where mindblowing! Rocket Queen, still a kick ass song! Then the solo's started, and the momentum was broken. Still, I really enjoyed the show.

Axl looked and sounded great (but did I hear a diturbing backing track during "Sorry" and "Shackler's"?)

And Frank Ferrer: great drummer! He adds some really great grooves to a few songs (Brownstone, RQ, YCBM,...)

And the opening band Rival Sons: I really dig them, listening to them right now!

I mean it's believable, they're both in the same key, part of the "trilogy"

the beginning of Estranged is actually in G minor, rest in is C major just like November Rain (except for the coda which is is C minor)...the weird thing about most Guns songs is that they're played down half a step...so November Rain would be in B major..sounds way better in that key imo...I'm pretty sure that Axl's piano is tuned half a step down, since he always plays it in C major, but it sounds like it's in B major...also explains why Ashba had problems with the This I Love solo at first, since the piano has a weird tuning..as well as why Dizzy fucked up a couple of times

you really think that professional musicians like ashba en dizzy didn't figure that out by themself? maybe they should ask you for advice then

I only bought three 60€ standing tickets. One for me, one for my girlfriend and one for a friend.

Trouwens: ik heb gekozen om te betalen via overschrijving, maar heb nog steeds geen mail ontvangen met het overschrijvingsformulier. Is dit bij jullie ook zo of niet? Bij ticketstatus staat wel 'gereserveerd'...

Ik heb wel een mail ontvangen waarin dit staat: "Your reservation of tickets with order number x was correctly noted. Your order will be handled after we receive your payment. In the meantime the tickets remain reserved."

Volgens mij wordt het overschrijvingsformulier met de post opgestuurd?

talk about ugly. i'd like to se the release of a shirt with just a small mention of g n' r that i can wear at work or so. this one, like most of the other ones, are just not my cup of tea.

offcourse i'm gonna watch the full velvet revolver show but then the choices get difficult. i hope that none of the bands i'd like to see are scheduled at the same time. i'm looking forward to; vr, sabbath, machine head, soulfly, p.roach, slayer, helmet, motorhead and maybe team sleep and rammstein. what a great bill, but hey noice price too
