I scored pit seats for Miami.

The trucks are just a licensing deal. The band sells the right to someone to put stickers with their IP on an existing product. Same as t-shirts, koozies, etc. At the end of the day its up to the band or its management to decide what to license.

Not in this lifetime will that be the official litho for that show. no way.
The artist has no reason to lie. He did their Miami Beach poster in 2012. I got one at that show.

How did you discover who would be the artist for that show?
I was at Florida Supercon over the weekend saw someone selling a bunch of gig posters and prints. One of the prints was the one I got from the Fillmore Miami Beach show a couple of years ago. I asked if they were the artist, which they were, and they also confirmed that they are working on the Miami poster. Don't have the name handy. I have their card at home.

Spoke with the artist doing the artwork for the Miami poster. It will be play on skulls/skeletons and pirates of the Caribbean.

I was able to go to the pop up shop and picked up the Paris specific shirt even though I didn't love it, thinking that it was the main one for the show.
I also picked up an Appetite vinyl and had one of the artists (Binockl) they had on site personalize it. Most people had him customizing shirts with special markers, but I wanted something different. Also got two mini prints signed by both artists for free.
Outside the arena I was able to get the show specific print (80/100, screen printed), which was sold flat inside of a cardboard sleeve that they made me leave at an office with other items (motorcycle helmets, big bags, etc) before entering the stadium.
Was also able to grab the last skull and shotgun Paris shirt. Photos below, sorry for the crap quality.

Just found out I have to go to Paris for work next week and was able to get a "Pelous Or Debout / Golden Circle".Entering gate "G": does that mean anything? Also, do Golden Circle get early entry? Thanks in advance for any info.

The UYI album covers were taken from a fresco by Raphael titled The School of Athens which is in the Vatican. I was just there in May and snapped some pics. You could find a print of the whole painting somewhere online. If you want the specific UYI art, there are tons of posters for sale. You could even print your own at Kinkos.

You saved $500 for this or you just had extra cash laying around?
$500.
The one you bought was for how much? The black bordered version for $400 from the site above is for a lesser lithograph copy that costs $20. I got mine from the gallery that produced the original limited edition in 1989. They are more expensive, but in the context of collecting art and art prints, not too expensive at all.

I mean does that really matter? Lol
Im just asking generally lol, like everyone has their own priorities, If I had $500 then I would have done something else, what about you? if you had $500 would you buy this or do something else?
I buy, sell, and collect contemporary art that ranges from 3k to 20k. As I mentioned, in the context of the hobby and the value of the print based on sale history and provenance, it wasn't a huge purchase. I buy a lot of art. I'm just sharing it here because it is related to GNR.
