Can't for wait for The Darkess' 2nd album
-
This band is good. You can't really find their stuff anywhere though.
-
1. Go on purevolume.com
2. Search for Black Tuesday
3. Click on the experimental/metal one and listen
This band is so crappy. I laughed for like 20 minutes the first time I saw this.
-
1. Heartbreaker
2. Achilles Last Stand
3. Lemon Song
4. In My Time Of Dying
5. We're Gonna Groove
-
There's this cool band called Old Man that broke up at the height of their success a la At The Drive-In. You should totally check them out. They might be odd, but they're coolioso.
-
I chose Bon Scott because he made less cheesy lyrics and could be understood
-
This is a revised version of the poll you guys hated so much. I even put Duff in so you can show your GNR loyalty ever so falsely. Keep in mind that you are voting for the best bassist not the best bassist's band.
I chose Claypool because he plays bass very well. Now you try.

Is Bucketheadland a good album?
I have Giant Robot, Bucketheadland 2, Monsters And Robots, Colma, and Population Override.
Does the first compare to any of these?
-
These albums are almost like the Use Your Illusions in that they both have similar characteristics.
I enjoy Flick Of The Switch more
-
Please don't get mad that I didn't include Harrison or Ringo. Harrison only wrote one song per side and Ringo wrote like five songs.
I picked Lennon because he makes you think. McCartney makes you want to eat lollipops and pancakes.
-
Lumiere, did you hear Frances The Mute (song not album) yet?
-
-
I've posted a couple of TMV (sorry to sound repetitive) posts and not one person responds to them.
Is this because you aren't familiar or what?
-
Can't anybody just vote for someone!!!!!!!
What's wrong with you, Duff is a terrible bassist in a great band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Duff was in a band as crappy as Good Charlotte, you wouldn't like him as much!!
Just vote with the choices I give you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'd have to say they are my favorite band ever. I'm so dedicated that I'm buying a record player to listen to their vinyl-only singles.
The guitars and bass are crazy, the keyboards are mind-boggling, the drums sound like frickin' riverdance, and the lyrics and vocals are like Plant and Mercury with a 400-pound thesaurus
-
Does anybody notice that I had the worst comeback and screwed up a quote
-
In my opinion, marshmallows and gum are odd
-
What I meant was best out this bunch.
I'll sympathize with Yamisonic, but Duff is nowhere as good as anybody mentioned.
-
I chose Claypool because he slaps that mutha like crazy
-
Mine would have to be:
1-Welcome To Bucketheadland - Buckethead
2-Cygnus....Vismund Cygnus - The Mars Volta
3-Buckethead - Colonel Claypool's Bucket Of Bernie Brains
4-Heartbreaker - Led Zeppelin
5-The Trooper - Iron Maiden
Freebird is the same thing repeated over and over
I learned all of Stairway in my fourth month of playing guitar (self-taught)
Eric Clapton is a strict blues guitarist with no creativity
-
Maiden dominates over Metallica. They're old and they still beat Some Kind Of Monster with Dance Of Death
Steve Harris is awesome!!!!!!!!
-
I listened to the single and another song. The purple and black video sets an awesome tone for the album
-
I always thought Mustaine had a really cheesy voice. I chose Metallica
-
X Metallica
IX At The Drive-In
VIII Led Zeppelin
VII Buckethead
VI Guns N' Roses
V Pink Floyd
IV Sum 41
III The Darkness
II AC/DC
I The Mars Volta
Best Album of 2005
in MY WORLD
Posted
Frances The Mute is my personal best album of 2005, but the Audioslave album is pretty good.
The Darkness should blow them all away.
