Monster Magnet is my favorite band of all time, in any form. I think the only albums I don't like are "4 way diablo" and "God says no".
Go to Clutch. Trust me, you will not regret is. This is one of those bands you have to see live to understand their power. Albums or videos don't do them justice. I know they are roped in with a lot of stoner bands, but imo Clutch is just a heavy blues band. The opening band, Green Lung, is also pretty good, btw.- 1

It's been a while since I logged in here. To be honest, I've lost a lot of interest in GNR over the years. When you look at a band like Clutch, they are showing how it's done. They do tour a lot, but they are releasing stellar albums to support the tour. On top of that, they are changing the setlist they play every night and literally every show I've seen of them is killer. They are probably the best kept secret of rock music. Just wanted to start this thread to give them some more exposure: they absolutely deserve it.
Just look at how awesome this concert is: -
Jesus Christ, why don't they just release an album and focus on that for now? Axl is sounding absolutely horrible. It has gotten so far that I'm actively hoping that they are NOT announced as a headliner for the festival I'm attending (https://www.graspop.be/en/line-up/a-z) next year in june.

I have been following this band for a long time, but I don't see how anyone could defend this performance. It's terrible.

I hope there is some other track coming soon. I really, really dislike this. To me, it sounds like grampa Simpson angrily shouting over some random riffs. I can't help it.

It's safe to say it's completely 'absurd' to release this 'turd' as a first single.
Man, I'm disappointed.
Also fucking hate the production.

That was absolutely horrible. Jesus Christ. I hope they don't get it in their mind to release this as a single, because they will be rightfully trashed everywhere.

I'm playing Doom Eternal, but so far it's slightly disappointing to me. Enjoyed the 2016 one much more. I don't like the week points system and three scrambling for ammo/health all the time.
Apart from that, I'm ordering stuff online. Had 48 bottles of wine delivered, some tea, some luxury butcher,... Cooking is something I usually enjoy and now I have a lot of time on my hands to do so.
And off course I get to spend time with my 1yo, to whom this is a huge vacation.
I try to work as much as possible from home, but I don't like it very much. It's something I avoided as much as possible in the past. I'd rather work two hours longer at my office, than one hour at home. I tried to keep home and work sepperated. But I guess that's over now.

So I went to see Testament, Exodus and Death Angel in Brussels on the 10th of march. Now I'm reading that the drummer of Death Angel is fighting for his life in ICU and several other members of those bands are quarantained/tested positive. I feel fine, but can't help to be a bit worried as well...

If GNR says: "we want to release an album" they can release an album. In whatever way they want. It's that simple really.

Jawbone - Jawbone. Great new band, but members have already earned their stripes, having played with Tom Jones, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Ten Years After, Van Morrison Robert Plant, Dave Gilmour, Seth Lakeman, Cliff Richard, Ginger Baker, Ronnie Wood, Shuggie Otis, Laura Marling, James Hunter, Phil Manzanera, Garth Hudson, Jimmy Carl Black,...

I got round to listening to Superjudge. It was pretty good y'know, heavy riffs, really loved the tone on the lead guitar work, the singer kinda lets it down a bit though, a bit by the numbers growley. When I heard the name Stoner Rock I thought for some reason it'd be like heavy psychedlia, feels more like aggressive workout music. Guitar work, the lead stuff, was the best thing about it to my mind.
Maybe you should try this song called "Dopesmoker’’. It tells the story of a caravan of ‘‘weed-priests’’ traveling across the ‘‘sand-sea’’ in search of the ‘‘riff-filled land’’ so as to fulfill their ‘‘desert legion smoke-covenant.’’ It's completely bonkers, 63min long, but considered a landmark in the genre.

Bruges is beautiful, never been to Ghent, I don’t think it’s too big.
If you should go to Antwerp, just check out the centre, it’s very walkable and not spread out like Brussels. And the street Cogels Osylei is worth checking out if you are into old architecture, it’s a very stunning street/area.
I am orignally from Ghent and live in Brussels. I can give you some recommendations. Send me a PM with what you would like to know.

Got my Hershey ticket. $75 after fees and shipping for GA.
I'm always surprised to see concert ticket prices from other parts in the wordl. 75 fucking dollars for Ghost? I payed 41€ earlier this year for GA. The previous concerts of Ghost I attended it was 20€ and 28€.

The newspapers are right. This was by far the worst show I ever witnessed by them. Axl just plainly sucked, aside on maybe a handful of songs. I don't know how some people can keep defending these kind of performances. I mean, don't you see any other bands/singers to compare this to?
