I was a big fan of The Darkness and I was pretty bummed when they broke up...Then there was Hot Leg.
I think Justin Hawkins has finally got his act together and it's good to hear new music from him. I've only heard a few songs from Red Light Fever since getting a copy of the CD in the USA isn't exactly easy, but I really like what I've heard so far.
Any thoughts?

If you wish to chat about the original Gunners - the section is right under the Newswire section at the top of the forum. In this section, you can chat about Slash, Duff and the original members - and even talk about reunion rumors. This is in the top section of the forum.
However, if you wish to talk about musicians, who briefly played with the band and were really just session musicians, then the former Gunner section is the place to go. And this section is exactly where it should be. If you started this thread just to whine about Bucket - then I will remind you again that this is a GNR forum, not a Buckethead forum. If you wish to obsess and cupcake over this particular musician, then I suggest you find a Buckethead forum, where you're free to spend your entire time drooling over him and his 100-releases-a-year music career. A GNR forum is not the place for that.
You mention that Slash and Duff should be talked about in the Original Gunners section. So I think putting (Velvet Revolver) in Former Gunners is a mistake.
After all you don't consider Slash and Duff to be session musicians now do you?

And people say he shows no emotion
QFT
Man I like Buckethead and all, and Electric Tears is a damn good album, but that song sucks balls.
I'm pretty sure this topic relates to sad songs, I find this song to be sad, the end
Off topic: The best Electric Tears songs have to be Angel Monster, Baptism of Solitude, and Witches on the Heath

James LaBrie is very underrated IMO, so maybe not among the greatest....but definitely worth a mention

I was at the show tonight and Cincinnati, and all I can say is WOW!
I'm still blown away, what a great show, Dave is back and in full force while Wolfie is holding his own on Bass B)
If you can get tickets to a show, don't pass it up, it's worth ever penny.

Cheap Trick - The Flame
Not sure if that's exactly about missing someone, but it's a great song.

ooooo....that reminds me
Going to see Rush tomorrow night..
I saw them on the 1st, they still put on a great show, you won't be disappointed.
I'm glad to hear that the rehearsal went well, I'm just a little disappointed that they aren't coming to Cincinnati...

Sometimes Zakk Wyldes excessive guitar wanking annoys me though.
You couldn't put it any better, Zakk Wylde is highly overrated and butchers the old songs.
But seeing Ozzy live was amazing, he's still got it all these years later.

Wow, that was awesome!
I've seen another youtube version but I think I like this one more B)

Well I went into the festival not expecting too much, and I was pleasently surprised.
Highlights for me included: 3 Inches of Blood, The Showdown, Ankla, Daath, and of course all of the bands on the main stage
I saw In This Moment and Devildriver- both rocked.Hmm, I found In This Moment to be one of the weaker ponts of the whole show along with Chthonic.
But I guess the variety of music is what makes Ozzfest great B)

I'm going to Ozzfest on the 14th (tomorrow) and I'm wondering what anyone thought about it this year?
Ozzy is the only band I know, any suggestions on who else I should check out?

That was awesome, really nice job!
My only recommendation would be to pick the best audio and stick with that throughout the song, then just mute the audio for the other shots so it's just one audio track.
I really enjoyed that.
