  1. SLAYER's "Christ Illusion" sold more than 62,000 copies in its first week of release in the United States to debut at position No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart. This is the highest position ever on the chart for SLAYER, who previously reached No. 8 with their 1994 release "Divine Intervention" after moving 93,000 copies of that album in its first week.

SLAYER's last album, 2001's "God Hates Us All", registered a first-week tally of 51,000 to land at No. 28, while 1998's "Diabolus In Musica" opened with 46,000 units, debuting at No. 31.

"God Hates Us All" has sold 304,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan — roughly in line with the number achieved by its predecessor, "Diabolus In Musica", which currently stands at about 290,000. Several of the earlier SLAYER albums have been certified gold for sales in excess of 500,000 copies in the United States, including "Divine Intervention", which has moved 493,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

    5th place.....great job (Y)

    I really want this album.

  2. My cousin is living there and he said that some fucker wearing a U2 shirt got chased and beaten with bats last month because he told some dudes from this band that they looked gay! We need more metalheads like them over here!

LONG LIVE TRUE METAL!!! DEATH TO FALSE METAL!!!

    what...the....fuck?

  3. Has anyone got a clip of the Milli Vanilli?

Theres no live clip showing Milli Vanilli lip-syncing, their record label just found out, and by then they had sold 30 million albums, and they got their money taken from them. The first guy OD'd or something in the mid 90s and the second guy is still trying to make it.

    yeah man also

they won grammys for Best New Artist and then had them revoked for being fakers

  4. i got there first album friggin yearssss ago i still listen to it quite alot its pretty good not really into there other albums tho....ive also seen them live 3 times twice at download purly because i was there. and once when i went to see slayer on there unholy alliance tour there a good live band worth seeing.

    -Cowboys from Hell (So addictive/upbeat)

-5 minutes alone(One of the hardest songs out there)

-I'm Broken (probably their best song)

Oh! Dude I forgot Hollow. That song kicks ass! rock3

    And Becoming. rock4

Pantera is awesome. Some songs are too hardcore for me, but for the most part they rock! I have always wanted to hear GN'R cover Cowboys from Hell! Axl's voice would be awesome on that song.

  10. On the topic of Slayer, anything past South of Heaven licks, and Kerry King is overrated. :P Don't get me wrong, I'm a slayer fan myself, but I prefer their old stuff (Hell Awaits, Show No Mercy) as compared to this God Hates Us All crap

Hes Good man, but dave clearly is the most talented person in the band amazing drummer.

man your sig kicks asssss rock1

  11. this pic's too good to pass up:

    godlistenstoslayer9ww5fd.png

Thats brilliant! i love slayer, cant wait to see them later this year, it'll be the 6th time!!

it'll also be good to see children of bodom i really like them aswell.

  12. Rachel was the original singer.

But then Snake said his voice was too punkish for the band.

So they searched and found Seb.

And yeah, Bon Jovi did screw them out of money, small print, the reason Snake said he didn't is because Bon Jovi also made them sign a gagging order about the ordeal, otherwise he would sue them for everything. However when Sebastian left Skid this broke him fron the contract and he went on to say Bon Jovi did infact screw them over.

I like rachel bolans voice on there cover of psycho therapy rock1

also i didnt know that last bit thanks :D

  13. Bon jovi didnt discover them, he helped them get a record deal also apparently srewed them out of alot of money, although later sabo claimed jon bon jovi didnt, he made a deal with them a contract that they all signed....meanin most of there earnings went to jon,
