I really like this song, it's very mellow and has a definite Queen vibe.

On first impressions I like it. Went in a totally unexpected direction.

I was thinking about this last night and I don't think they need a third guitarist. Even if the songs are complex and use a lot of guitar overdubs and stuff, they could just adapt the songs to play them live, like Queen. Brian May used a load of different guitar sounds and overdubs but still managed to put on a great live show with only one guitar.

It wouldn't be the first time a band didn't have the title track featured on the album.

The Doors put out an album intitled Waiting For The Sun,the title track was on a different album.

Queen did it with "Sheer Heart Attack" as well.

I've shown them to a few people.

My girlfriend has only heard Better and IRS, but she thought they were both awesome. She's not a big Guns fan, only really heard the popular tracks (although I'm working to change that).

A guy who was on the fence about the new band and wasn't sure about the new direction is sold on it after hearing these.

A friend who has only heard a few songs said they were really good.

One friend who's a pretty big Guns fan said they were great, and Axl is one crazy motherfucker lol.

So far no-one I've shown them to has disliked them, but it's also interesting to note that they're not too familiar with the original band. And I did tell them who the songs were by before I let them listen.

With regards to Mrs. Reed's comments, it's not exactly the same situation. We know for certain Christmas is coming.
