I have to laugh at the people complaining about the woman screaming during stream.
Not to be all "old timer" about it, but SO much is taken for granted these days.
To be clear, here's how we would have heard this back in the early 90s:
Someone would have had to have snuck in recording equipment, then got away with recording the entire show. Then it would have been sold to bootleg companies. Then you would have to accidentally find the bootleg in a CD store that happens to sell bootlegs, months if not a year later.
After all of that, you'd pay at least $60 for a 2 CD set (the going rate in the early 90s for bootlegs), then you'd STILL hear people screaming over the track.
Instead, everyone gets to watch it literally in the palm of their hand from their couch if they want. Somehow, people still find a way to whine about it lol.
In short; kids these days!

A matter of music taste. Imho overproduced ( at least so called rockers), a filler or two too many (shotgun blues, get in the ring), and most of all the thing that really annoyed me was low volume of Izzys guitar.

So ok we will all ignore the fact we know a person who came from Indiana, who made fun of arabs during mtv rock, who wrote OIAM, who made homophobical and rasist lyrics, who pleaded a deal with Erin and Stephanie, and i remeber in Slashs book when he specifically told MEghan to leave it alone (Erin etc), ok lol.
I must say I understand ( at least I think Ido), but to build a reputation through a 15 year old girl.
lol, lol, lol, lol
I rmean, lol

After following the comments on this post for a couple days, a few thoughts....
1. I don’t know why anyone is clamoring for a new “record from scratch” as opposed to unreleased music from the Chinese sessions. I have a sneaking suspicion that Axl could very well be creatively (or at least lyrically) bankrupt at this point. What’s he gonna write about at this point? If Scraped is any indication of what a new (newer) song may sound like, no thanks. I’ll take 20 songs about Stephanie and Axls tortured soul all day.
2. A release consisting of songs from the Chinese sessions with Slash and Duff adding parts/reworking songs is THE BEST (and most likely) option. What happens to the parts recorded or written by past members? I’m not sure, but it does suck that they may not be heard (especially contributions from buckethead). Maybe the original material could be released some day in some form, but I don’t know how likely it is that parts by slash, buckethead and robin all co-exist on an album (for multiple reasons).
3. Izzy is NOT coming back. The original lineup FINALLY had a chance to reunite, and they left Izzy out because he wanted an equal cut. The others were greedy, selfish slobs and predicted (correctly) that they could keep more money for themselves and exclude Izzy, and still have a successful “reunion” tour. That has GOT TO sting. For those saying it wasn’t marketed as a reunion tour, the very name of the tour says otherwise. For those saying that Izzy couldn’t be counted on, because, 1991, stop. I’m sure he could’ve mustered up the desire to pull off touring to be apart of the biggest reunion of all time and secure his finances for the rest of his life. Axl obviously thought he could’ve learned a few CD songs, too, if he was given an offer. That being said...
4. STOP USING THE TERM “BIG 3”! It really does sound so stupid. They are not Ford, GM, and Chrysler. Besides, if there WERE a “big 3” of GNR, it would be Axl, Slash, and Izzy.
This, especially no.4

I have tried to find an interview with Chris, radio interview, it was around 2015, so just before reunion thing. He spoke very high in perspective of Axl and was kind of sorry he spoke negatively about him in the past. Basically he was acknowledging Axl was very supportive of new bands that were trying to make it. It’s sad the interview is gone, because you could see that he changed his mind about Axl and kind of understood where he came from.
Not to mention his picture of his daughter wearing AFD t shirt.
Guns ‘n’ Roses central covered some of the other interviews but it was very plain:.
So does anyone remember this interview?

Good interview, couldn't see Andy at all, just heard him just fine.
The most fascinating thing was talk of the perfect crime and how there's hundreds of hours of footage out there.
I'd take that over a new album any day of the week
Where do they talk about perfect crime? Tia

izzy was a massive part on AFD not from playing but from writing or part writing the classics and putting them together while the others probably sat drunk in the corner. i respect him for that, i really do. but the way things turned out slash became the mega star, the household name. you ask any random on the street that does not like rock and they will tell you who slash is. try asking them who izzy is and they have never heard of him. its a very bitter pill for izzy to swallow but thats life. thats how it is. AFD5 could not happen because izzy wanted mega star money and thats that. the other 4 shown up together more than once.
Wow, you really don’t know much about our ol GN’R, right?

HOLY FUCK! The sound quality is UNBELIEVABLE. This may be even better than fucking Paris 92... Just listen to this. It may be the best sound-quality bootleg of the entire Use Your Illusion Tour. Up there with Argentina 92? Definitely the best Skin N' Bones one. It sounds like the official Tokyo 92 in terms of quality. I NEED IT
Holly shit, now this is some epic stuff, just great.

I must say I like the fact Dave Grohl joined them, but I also like the fact people on this forum didn't go all crazy about it.

I've noticed over the years that there a huge contingent of posters here who claim Freddie Mercury is the greatest lead singer of all time. I don't think so, he doesn't beat Axl Prime at all. Furthermore, I believe most of the people who say that don't truly believe it....so? Between only these two frontmen who do you think Reigns supreme?
edit- i tried to make this a poll but it didn't work.
Lol, are you serious?

Hello.
I don't start a topic everyday but as a longtime fan I would like an opinion of a thesis I have regarding our band's popularity.
As some of older fans(btw I was 8 when AFD came out) might remember, GN'R was always something in between alternative and mainstream band ( talking about past SCOM single era, so 1988). Before they were PR'ed as a new, dangerous band (remember those early articles in UK's tabloids ).
Well let me get to the topic.
When GN'R really became the no.1 band( not just r'n'r band, but the BAND) in 1992, alternative bands were really out to get them (intended, yes).
But there was always something about them that kept them away of losing the integrity of a band that just didn't give a flying f...(again intended:)).
Eventough I considered nugnr as an Axl's solo project and NEVER as an actual GN'R thing, I think that everyone involved in nugnr always knew that it was just a matter of time before the old lineup (or at least a part) would get back together. Don't get me wrong, I think CD is great, but in my mind, it's Axl' brilliant solo effort.
My point is. If you read Slash's interviews from 1996 when he acknowledged that GN'R in all its craziness is what it is and recent interviews from Stinson when he was surprised but not that surprised, and Bach's comments abot Axl telling him: never say never " I have come to conclusion that this band is one of the only bands who really, I mean really gave an all time "this is what you get " attitude to their fans and media in general.
My opinion is that Slash was always a part of GN'R in Axl's mind, but it's just needed time to resolve an issue or two. If it takes 20 years, well it takes 20 years.
To get to my first point.GN'R could have sold out millions of times, but never did. Paradoxically most of the bands that made fun of them in early 90's sold out so badly and without even feeling any shame of doing so.
The way Chris Cornell nowadays acknowledges Axl's attitude and support towards the bands that were trying to (or supposedly didn't try to) get in the spotlight says a lot.
Remember the movie Ben Affleck and Steven Tyler's daughter played in? Late 90's? Don't wanna miss a thing? Well GN'R would never do this kind of sh.t.
So my point is, we have waited and have only a few albums of our favorite band, but hell we like the band who at least artistically never sold out.
Axl band playing private parties and Las Vegas gigs doesn't count as a GN'R gig, in my point of view. It was a part of a process called GN'R.
I don't expect new music, I hope they will tour for 2 years tops and that's it.
Please share your thoughts.

Yes, but Matt recorded and toured Illusions, so it's closer than you think.
No, off all the original members Adler's likely the one Axl's missed the least.
Yes.
Do you understand that the right thing to do and what you want them to do are not one in the same? Do you understand that Adler was such a raging addict he was thrown out of a band of raging addicts? And he spent 25 years pointing fingers and whining about it? And he's been "2 years sober" for 25 years? And he's burned members of the band that gave him a chance in recent years? And it's entirely reasonable to not put a tour like this in his hands? And he's lucky to get the guest spots that he does? This tour could easily go on without him it's not like they need him there.
Wow, you seriously look like you have some kind of personal problems. Big ones.

I would guess producers. As far as I remember it was also suggested that they speed up Jungle and some other songs, cause in reality those demos of some of the songs are just too slow.
