Yeah you are right, we are all fans and I'm really glad Axl and Guns are given the respect they deserve and so many people are showing it but I hope this isn't just a spur of a moment kind of thing where all the fans that have now registered, disappear as soon as Axl stops coming here.

It's always good to have new blood around and this is cool that we have a lot of new members giving their own point of views about things and it would be awesome if they continue to do that in the future and not just come here because of Axl's visits. Anyway, welcome to the boards and I hope you'll enjoy enough to stick around in the future too.

I know it's not fair to judge others by the number of their posts or anything but most of these "1 post/2 days on the forum"-types are hilarious. I'm sure you are all huge fans who just happen to register right after it's on the news that Axl dropped by, and surely Axl is going to read your interesting stories about how you, your family, their pets and your mailman's cousin loves him, let alone replying to them. More power to them I guess, whatever makes them happy, right on. Makes for a good entertainment at least.

New to the forum...not really sure how to ask Axl a question? Can someone help? Not even sure I know what I would ask the man....

Maybe you can start by quoting that whole Axl post a few more times, that'd be awesome. Seriously, I don't think it's no use to post any questions in these random threads all around the forum. Axl probably hasn't got the time to browse through them all, and if the wants questions, he asks like he did with this and give us the answers later. It works best that way.

Jeeeesus christ and the wall of text! I just spent the last 25 minutes reading that and it cleared a lot of things although my mind is far from clear atm. Probably have to read it again tomorrow, it's 1.30am here so I'm a little tired. But still, that was super-interesting and kind of depressing too; the shit that has gone down over the last 20 years is awful, and the pressure and all Axl is faced must be huge, thank god he didn't gave in.

Did you have an idea or a feeling back then in the early 90's that the group may fall apart so you took the rights for the name and wanted to secure the future of the group because of that?

Anyway, great to see him answering all those questions, he was on like hours! I don't know what's the time over there where Axl is but it's like 8 pm here so it must be night/early morning when he started posting. The guy is a nightcrawler or something.

They are really underrated and one of the best metal bands around. I only have This Godless Endeavor but I've heard some other stuff too. Everyone who likes metal should check them out.

I only saw GnR and Tool so I say those.

Some of those list are a bit wrong...I mean Riff of the Year and there is Mastodon's Iron Tusk which is about 2 years old song. There might be other stuff wrong too but some of those list's were ok.

And I agree that Synyster Gates is wasting his talent in Avenged. He is obviously the most talented guy in the band and some of the songs would be pretty boring without his guitar playing. I hope they improve their stuff with the next album, especially the singer has a lot of improving to do, IMO.

It's hard to say one so I'll make a boring list.

Stones, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Maiden, Metallica, GNR, FNM, Tool, King Crimson and Pantera.

It went to my favourites towards the end but those are very influental bands IMO.

Also Crack Hitler and Just A Man, but I couldn't videos for those two.

Those are my favourite FNM songs, just amazing how diverse their stuff is. Epic's great too.

Pit(t)man is seriously giving some nice touch to those new songs with his effects n' shit. Awesome.

I have the album and I like some songs but I hate the song "Apple Tree" with a passion and whenever I hear even the beginning of it, I get angry and depressed for the rest of the day.

Yeah that was kind of unnecessary. Other than that, it was interesting and made Merck look a little better to me.

Actually I don't feel so bad that the album is delayed. Merck is gone, time to celebrate! Maybe the new management can pull this off and finally get the album out with Guns.

They have awesome songs but I don't have a christmas feeling right now since there is no snow and it's raining all the time in here.

Wizards of Winter or whatever is awesome. Christmas Canon Rock is also pretty cool song. I like some other too but I can't remember those songs right now. :xmasschef2:
