are you serious?
wow that is really really really weird.

One bit of advice though: stay away from "The <whatever>s." It's being done to death right now.
The Whatevers!!! Great idea!!!
Plasma.
Louder than Bombs (nicked from a Smiths album)

The Streets. Not that i dislike them, i think they're great (waiting for the 'he's just talking' comments any moment now) but I never thought they'd be popular, well they are in the UK anyway.

I'm a fan, haven't heard the song. Don't spose there's a way you could send it please katie?

Personally wouldn't recommend the squier to a deaf man, i think Yamaha make some pretty good starter packs...the pacifica can be bought for around £180 over here...Yamaha do great value for money.

Sid Vicious was a crap bassist! He couldn't even play when he joined the Pistols!
I would love to see Dean Martin/ Frankie with Stevie Ray , unfortunately its just as unlikely now as it would be if they were alive!

Golden fucking Brown!!!??
Some big omissions on that list, i bet it was put together by the listeners of HeartFm. That note should say No one under the age of 30 may enter!

Probably one of the most boring bands to hit the mainstream since Keane and Maroon 5.
1. They hit the mainstream before.
2. Have you heard the song "Shiver"? You would not call them generic if you had heard some of their best work.
3. Keane are a big pile of steaming dog cack so at least we agree on something.

A "noob"? You sure know how to hurt someone's feelings
Seriously though, i know they haven't been quite as on form, last class album was "Kid A" which is probably my favourite of the three. And calling them a new age Pink Floyd, great call.. Pink Floyd are one of the all time great bands, and just as innovative and groundbreaking as the 'head.
Ok, rant over...some of you guys can go back to dissing every band that doesn't have a ten minute solo in every song!
P.s- Slash loves the 'head

Coldplays new album came out today. The long anticipated album LOL
This thing was really hyped up. Next biggest band in the world etc.
I really liked the album but they seem to be trying a little hard. Everything just sounds so grandesque and overproduced.
Totally agree with that part, parachutes is a better album simply because it focuses on melody rather than some U2 copy. As you said, it's an excellent album but i feel that they would be better off sticking to a more raw sound. However, i never understand when people say "they are trying too hard". Should they not try hard to make the best album possible?

Brian Mcfadden?

If you want to hear gary moore in his prime, "parisienne walkways" by thin lizzy is probably your best bet. A good guitarist, probably underrated because he was in a one trick pony band (although i quite like them!)

G4- Bohemian Rhapsody?

Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen.
Rank choice.
Paranoid Android by Radiohead for me.

Phil Collins.
Definitely. As the Genesis frontman, he had a knack for superb banter (including genuinely amusing jokes and anecdotes) and had definite charisma.
Shame his music was cack then eh?

Just because lennon's lyrics are more simple doesn't mean they aren't as good. Some of the best lyrics of all time are the simplest. However, having said that, Dylan has written some stunning stuff...personally i think Just Like A Woman is amazing in every sense. Lennon for me though, simply because being a songwriter is more than just being a poet, Lennon wrote some of the finest melodies of all time and isn't world reknowned simply by chance. Thank you and goodnight.
