I'm not going to profess to be some expert here (even though am a guitarist and have some idea) - just going to express an opinion. I don't like Bucket's look or general playing style, and my knowledge of BBF's playing is limited. However, I can't stop being awestruck by Bucket's solo in TWAT. Whoa! Emotive, powerful and unique. Most of all it provides a "bucket"load of adrenalin to the listener, which IMO is what GNR is all about.

One thing I noticed is how the vocals are way louder than the guitar, in the first verse. Is that just the mixing on the ad so you can hear his voice over the sheep?

DTJ is one of the best tracks from both UYI albums IS the best live track (IMO). This rocking sleeper would be perfect to include in the upcoming tour - it's not well known and has a truckload of attitude.

These new songs are closing the black hole that I feel has existed since Lies. There was 'maybe' enough material for a single UYI album but even still it was over-produced and the songs lacked that GnR edge. Tip - listen to these new songs as loud as you can get them in your car .... I consistently get goose-bumps, particulaly with TWAT which will explode when released - there's been nothing CLOSE to this energy, creativity and talent for over 10 years (I don't understand the comparisons I've read with Estranged and TWAT - it's like comparing a trot to a gallop). CITR is also amazing and is just a great song to listen to.

My take on the new songs in general ..... I am very impressed and excited ... and the extravagant wait may just be worth it!
