  1. Well this simple. Frank owns the shit out of brain. I saw them in May (Brain) and in November (Ferrer). The drumming was more exciting to me with Ferrer. I thought Frank played better too. Im a guitarist but I know when a drummer is good and Brain was boring to me, in Guns. Plus i dont like him because of his "only for the money" comments. Frank is just an awesome cat. Hes the drummer for Guns N' Roses.

when did brain ever say he was in it "only for the money"?

I can remember lots of quotes where brain said that. Anyone?

Sorry if i made that up, but i didnt

  3. No, it doesnt, having an album out will absolutely be an advantage, there are probably 20,000 people worldwide, who are "lusting" for this album. The tour probably will not do that good at all, unless theyre is a single. Really doesnt matter to me though because im going and im gonna have a great time, just like i did at the last NYC shows.

  4. No, not at all. Bucket's shredding kicks ass, i think its cool. Robin has enough "Soul" to cover the whole band. I think the buckethead parts are cool, and my friends love them too, they need to stay.

i do however believe that buckethead was a talented guitarist and that his solos on the leaks were spot on. The only reason guitarists talk about "emotionless shred" is because they're not good enough to play like that and need to diss it to make themselves feel better. - from Graeme.

Agreed, i hate when people say shredding solos are emotionless.

  5. I saw Guns on May 15th 2006 in the Hammerstein Ballroom with my girlfriend and one of my best friends. It was an unbelievable experience. THe whole night was electric, except for BFMV (the opening band) they were way too loud.

Overall it was probably the best concert I had ever been too but that might be just because Im a GNR freak.

  6. They have got the slot at Download just before GN'R... what the fuck! :anger:

Better than having them after GNR ;) Imagine GNR getting the crowd all pumped up and then Bullet For My Valentine score off the hardwork GNR did and they get good reviews for it.

Imagine axl and his hired band scoring off all the hard work slash izzy and duff did co-writing the songs that will make up 75% of his set list.

Why must people make every thread in here "Old V New". The new band are around, deal with it. I also don't think the new band will play many of the classics this time around. It'll be more focused on the new songs with a couple of classics mixed into the live set. 75% is a huge exaggeration.

No its not, last tour old songs made up about 85% of the set actually, Im hoping for some new stuff, but I dont know why everyone thinks this tour is gonna be WTTJ, SCOM, PC and all chinese democracy songs, it wont be.

  7. I am outright disgusted by the approval for a fucking junkie like Scott Weeeedland on this fucking board. He's a spineless piece of shit, a "fraud" and if you can't stand behind the man we all love and respect for keeping the GNR legacy going, then go toa fucking velvet revolver board and let the real fans support their band in piece. we dont need this bullshit.

    LOL

Holy shit calm down. I love when people post shit like this, anyone can post whatever they want, not everyone has to lick Axl's sack.

  8. Why the fuck did this become the bash America thread. Saying that America is the worst country on the planet is the most fucking idiotic thing i've ever heard in my life.

Back to Guns N' Roses, what the topic was about you Shithead america bashers, It would really suck if they don't come to the U.S. I' m not saying I totally believe Dizzy, because he's told some major bllshit before, but I hate reading things like that. I start thinking what if they never come to America, and I just hate thinking that.

  9. Cool. It seems the big machine is starting to move....Now, more than ever I have the feeling that SOON is the word B)

Meh. Maybe Axl was diagnosed with cancer, and this is the only valid explanation as to why he's had so much activity as of late.

    I don't think that's funny, a really disturbing post

Yeah dont say that kinda stuff man, seriously uncool <_<

Very seriously uncool and hits a little too close to home for me :fuckyou:

EXTREMELY UNCOOL AND YEAH, CANCER IS NOTHING TO LAUGH ABOUT. :fuckyou:

Wow yeah Sabra Cadabra you probably feel like an ass. That wasn't funny at all. Maybe it wasn't intended to be. I sure hope so.

  10. 2002 was shit, his voice was crap!, 2006 sounds great! i think axl learnt alot from the 2002 comeback, he's going to do it right this time.

I completely disagree, his voice is way better, in 2002 then it was sometimes in the old days. That UYI live in tokyo sounds like shit. I haven heard like a 100 shows or anything, but I know I enjoy listening to the new band way more then the old band.
