his drumming in argentina was amazing

you have to remember that Steven is a really really really poor drummer. the sound he gets is kinda cool but thats just the way its miked and mixed. everything he plays is basic and easy. Slash has said he had to be tapping his foot the whole time just to get the guy to stay in time

yeh i agree with that, for me stevens drumming just seems "real" and i mean that by it just fits the mood of the songs so much more

im sorry but the guy is shit!! i only have rock in rio 2001 to judge from and that video and ive got to say i could do better, the video is pretty standard stuff and in rock rio it was pretty standard but he still managed to fuck up every song especially you could be mine , he played the old songs really bad, the new ones though he played better

whether it wa down to not enough practice with the old one or not i thought he really let the new GNR down heavily

well it took our producer 5 hours to mix 5 songs, most which were done automatically using computers etc, but then we still found bits wrong so they had to be corrected

Basically it needs to be done each song, and usually gets mixed millions of times before the final version is perfect

you jsut take away one mix, listen to it, find something wrong ,bring it back, correct it then do the process again till your happy

which might take forever if your axl!
