  1. Freddie is not a standart for me. Yhere are many singers with the voice. But Axl is not one of them.

Maube, Antiny Kiddis or David Lee Roth or Jim Heffman or  anybosy else...

And what about three chord songs... I don't know - listen Paradise City, Knocking on heaven's door, 14 years, Get in the ring, yesterdays, Used to love her, One in a million and many many more...

You are absolutely a fucking moron. Not to mention you can't put more than 3 words together. Axl is the greatest frontman (sorry,Plant/Tyler/Mercury/Jagger) rock has ever known, and he has a great, distinctive voice. Go scratch your ass. Opinions, in your case, are like assholes.

    ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

  2. Okay Gunners. The reason we made up those 2,000 votes we trailed Bruce by today was primarily myself and one other gunner. We were able to vote over 2300 times, until we got tired. Haha. So,you can vote more than once.

  3. First of all, lets wait for the facts. If someone was Ill, they could have said something though. And if they were concerned about coming out becasue of the fans, they could have 1) come out earlier, like the garden. 2) someone make an announcement that "hey calm the fuck down and stop throwing stuff, or they are not coming out".

In any event, there is no condoning getting fucking violent and throwing shit and hurting people just there to rock. Major thumbs down to the Philly assholes who were doing that. I'm sure it's a minority group of them who make all the other legitimate Philly rockers look bad. Thats a shame. Stay the fuck home, assholes. Or better yet, do us a favor and go to a Creed concert.

Come on Axl, make it easier for us. We're trying hard to hang in there!!!

  4. You're not alone. Last time I saw them was in 93, and  was 35 then. I'm 44 now. Advil sounds right. I was sick as a dog for Hartford myself. I also expected to be the old f&&k there, but was suprised at a good mix of older fans (thankfully lots of them looked much older than me. Ii still have my hair, it's not gray, and I don't look a day over 35). I was also suprised at how many 16-21 year olds were there. Thats fantastic to see all the Neo-Fans. Goes to show, cool is cool, it doesn't get outdated. Make note of that, Creed fans, Pop Fans etc. I was skepticla, but like you, as soon as they came out, all was forgiven. Axl was better than ever. So he put a few pounds on. So have I, no sympathy. He still looked real fit and trim for a 40 year-Old, and showed it. I loved Buckethead and Brain and Fortus etc. Jurys out on Finck. Maybe he had a bad night. Bbut he was real sloppy and off-key on some of the important solos. Maybe Buckethead should take the lead on some of those. That boy is crisp and clean, no mistakes. The Hartford Ccivic Ccenter is a crappy venue. I bet it was alot better at the Fleet Center, and will probably be awesome at MSG. God I miss NY in that respect.

  5. Just got back home from the best show I've ever seen.

First order of business. Axl,lose CKY and Mix Master Mike, they really suck. It wasn't a sellout, I'd say 8,000 out of a possible 12,000. That was disappointing, but that’s partly because this wasn't the most marketed tour I've ever seen, and lastly because, Hey, this is Connecticut what the f%$k do they know. God, I miss NY in that respect.

Da boys came on at about 10:37, and wrapped up at about 12:30. The set list is below.

Second order of business. Who pays these f#^king review guys from the Boston Globe etc, Metallica?

I sure as hell don't know what they are listening to. With all due respect to Slash and the rest of the old guys, and I did love them, but Axl is back and as good as ever. And the new guys aren't slouches, either. They covered the old tunes beautifully, it was like turning the clock back to 1989. And the new tunes, particularily Madagascar and Chinese Democracy, kick A##S. Axl, please release that CD real soon, we can't wait for it. Robin Finck and Buckethead are awesome, and BH in particular in an awesome technical guitarist, very clean. And Fincks got a lot of soul. Brain is awesome.

But Hartford rocked tonight, the crowd was loving Axl and crew, and the chicks were hot.. GNR is alive and well, and we're waiting for the second coming to once again revitalize the music industry, as they did back at the end of the Eighties.

  6. ???

I really don't get all the sh%t about Old GNR / New GNR, Slash, Buckethead. The old band was the greatest of their time, would have been possibly the greatest of all time with longevity. I grew up on Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath etc, anf after Zep, GNR is my favorite band of all time. Zepp had the greatest front man ever, Robert Plant. Until I saw Axel, that is. He is the greatest Rock front man there has ever been. I can't explain why, it's his presence. And this is why I brought tickets for the Hartford,CT Civic Center for the Dec.3 show. I don't care if slash is in the lineup. The greatest front man in rock, ever, will be there. And GNR will rise from the ashes like the PhOENIX, and finally help us drown out the Boy Bands and the Blond Britney/Christina slu&ts and give us something we've been lacking for about a decade. Real Music. Rock on , Axel. Anyone seen my KFC Bucket??
