  1. arpeggios are the notes in chords that are played individually.

what your thinking of are sweeps.

sweeps use arpegios and practically sweep down the 5 strings on the arpeggio notes.(yes that's my best explanation).

i just checked out shredaholic.com and they have a few good lessons. especially the ones that David wrote. rock1

  2. even if it's real, that guy won't get my money. cmon, it's just axl rose(and i'm NOT being sarcastic). and it's just a letter. the guy who is selling it surely takes his friendship with axl not serriously. why would he sell a letter that was for him from a friend??

  3. I could play them both but only on guitar. SCOM's intro riff is pretty easy, but if your hands are as small as mine, then you would have some difficult times with it :(..The other song, November Rain, I can play this on guitar only, I might be able to pick it up on piano, but I don't want to. BTW NR's guitar solos are REALLY long. It took me about 3 months(wild guess) to recite it. rock1 rock3:monkey:

  4. I've got a drum head, and a coat. I'm not willing to part with them though. I've also got Slash's guitar autographed.

Gibson Les Paul Standard? Of what year?! '59?!

DUDE! Do you know how much that thing is worth alone even w/o the Slash signiture?!

  5. What do you think is the best?

    The actual list is this:

    Digitech GNX4 VS

    Boss GT-8 VS

    Line 6 Pod XT Live

I personally have owned all 3 of them and I prefer the GNX4. It has a alot of useful functions that the Boss and the Line6 don't. For example, you could download tone patches for the GNX4. That's one of the major advantages of this piece of gear, but i won't go into details. :P :chef: :chef: :chef:

  6. I find the Sweet Child O' Mine solo easy up to where it gets fast  :P

    <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

?? I find it easier to play where it gets fast. I can't play the slow notes as good. It's hard to maintain that steady beat, and doing all those vibratos, bends, and stuff at the same time. In the fast part, the notes don't last too long so if I made a mistake, immediately, there's another note to cover.
