Equipment-wise, it varies what I use. I record everything into Logic 8 though and perform it with Ableton Live.

MG series is great. Best solid-state amps ever

i have an MG30DFX and the only thing i dont like about it is i need a bigger one

my bros old halfstack head is a MG and it sounds like a fuckin tube amp. or thats just his guitar :-)

I have a MG100DFX... it sounds NOTHING like a tube amp. The only thing the MG series is good for is stomping on and fucking with on stage.

I don't bother with amps too often anymore... besides from having a nice bass amp. I just feed my guitars/basses through my Metasonix gear. Epic win.

My (ex) college got three Spider III combo's for the rehearsal rooms we have. They blew up within the first 3 months. Apparently, thats a common problem with the combo's. Keep a check on it and keep the receipt! In the meantime, have fun rocking!

Glad you enjoy it. Some people have commented before about how it sounds (kinda) like NIN. I think thats just from the spontaneous nature of how it was recorded... its really pure and based around dreams, places, experiences... described in sound. Nothings worked out or planned. Much like 'Ghosts' was, I guess.

The stuff I'm working on now is totally different from that... so I'm not some cheap NIN rip off, haha. B)

Thats ages old. I'm not involved in that band. I've gave up on bands, I hate people and egos. Apart from the same name, that profile isn't even the band I was in.

My biggest inspiration is Guns N' Roses. If they didn't exist, I wouldn't be playing music. Listen to it, I dare you to say trying to rip of Slash or imitate their lengthly intros.

Also, I write music for me. I make it available for people to enjoy if they want... many people do. Many people don't. I don't care either way, at least people are using their ears.

I finally found a band that I think G&R fans can finally appreciate...16 Second Stare is a great new rock band with some awesome sounds and vocals...anyone heard of them? If not, you gotta give them a listen I really think it'll be worth it. If you've heard of them and heard their music do you agree with me? They're a band that gets better song after song. 5. Production can kill songs. Your songs sound like they've been polished. You music and singer lacks balls.

Anyway, FLAC files are simple, just download summin like SWITCH and use that to convert the FLAC file to whatever file format you like.

right, can someone please tell me what software my computer needs to download FLAC files? Every time I try to it just comes up with error and I heard you need some special software. I really want to be able to download and play them. Thanks

you dont need special software to download FLAC files. You just need software that can convert FLAC to MP3 or whtever you want.

I use a program called Switch

google it, it shud come up, its free.

you just drag your flac files in the box, select the output and click convert. hope that helps mate.

You can take quality away, but you cant put the quality back. so I alway go for FLAC.

I can see why it annoys alot of people... people who just wanna listen to music on their MP3 players, people that dont have broadband and people that dont have time to download larger files. But surely you can put up with it, why sacrafice future bootlegs for the selfish need of shortcuttin?

Once you download the FLAC files, just get a converter, it realy isnt that hard... convert them to MP3 and dont share the MP3s.

Seriously, to convert it takes me between 5 - 20 seconds a track, not much is it?
