2. Who do you think has/had the most talent in GNR ?

3. What Former Member would you like to see back in the band ?

Thought it would be interesting to collect the data and see how its looks so far....

Not being funny, but compared to the early days it must be great to be able walk about like that all. Not many people are going to know its him now.

We all would know straight away, but the average person wouldn't.

Such a great talent, never head this song before either, But I am a fan of it now.

I'm not a terrible singer, but that a different thing.

Just goes to show, everyone is very different. 

I wasn't on the forum at the time of Hard Skool being released, seems to be some negative vibes around the song ? - I thought it was a good new song at the time ? - I was unsure about Absurd TBH.

What was a band once now just resulted in me messing about with the old stuff we wrote on my own. I'm not very good at anything but I really do enjoying sitting down coming up with a concept of a song and doing it.

You Said was the first track we first recorded in 1998 , best track's I think is Die for Me, Decisions and No Rush for Rock and within the cover versions there is a GNR song.

And Wont Stop me, well you will notice the riff lol, that was recorded originally in 1998, with a recent update this year.

Like I said, I cant sing, I am a very limited guitar player but I really do enjoy doing it.

The music industry has changed, Albums isn't where the money is now, touring and merchandise is.

Bands need new songs and albums to build the fanbase to get fans to concerts.

These old school bands can have massive tours just on the back of the old albums and don't need new material.

I am a big Twisted Sister fan and look at the tour they did and how successful it was.

GNR don't need a Album, but I firmly believe the band what and need a album as a final last push to a career that isn't as big as it really should of been.

I remember hearing about them in 1986 in a two paragraph article in Kerrang, as one's to look out for in the future. Two years later the world was at their feet but for whatever reasons they couldn't keep it together.

Imagine how big they could be now if they had a kept it together and did an Album every 2-3 years......

My point is.... Deep down that must hurt Axl, Slash & Duff. They need a Album and it needs to be perfect.

On a hilarious side note, I can understand every single word you're saying, whereas Axl's original Oh My God, I can't understand a lot of the words he's singing. 😏 I had to look up Axl's version on Google to understand the words. 🤔With your song, it's crystal clear. 😏🤘

lol - I had no idea what the words were when I started.

I don't see the point in just covering a song and making it sound like the original. - Plus I could never play guitar to that level, and If I attempted to sing like Axl it would not end well.

Lets assume you have listened to the cover mentioned in the first post. I believe that would be enough proof that I am not either Axl or Slash. 

Or maybe I am, my profile picture would make sense if I was

He is the worlds biggest perfectionist, so until every last second on the album is to his liking it wont be released.

Well I mean I last posted in 2006 and only recently came back so you know I might of been busy .

Based on the age of the band, and how long it takes a do a album, you would have to assume this will be the last GNR Album.

Maybe doing another UYI and come out with a double album or more to get all the songs out that Axl, Duff and Slash wants to in one last album. 

Hence why its taking so long.

I was convinced on a 2022 release, based on the "14 years of silence, 14 years of pain" Theory.

On the plus side for the song, at the time it was the first release in about 5 years from the band and we were all excited about it after waiting SO long....

Little did we know........
