I've got two Gold General Admission tickets for the second Sydney concert on Sunday the 24th available
I can't go cause I've got a uni exam the next day
Looking to offload them just for face value ($150 each)
If anyone's interested, PM me ASAP, or email at jreoch@gmail.com

I've got tickets to both Sydney shows, but my attendance at the Sunday night concert is looking unlikely
I've got a uni exam the next afternoon, and since GNR probably won't be onstage until close to midnight, I don't think I'll be able to go.
The annoying thing is I had Gold GA for Sunday, and only Silver Reserved Seating for the Saturday night one
-
I've got tickets to both nights (silver seating Sat, gold GA Sunday), but I found out recently that I've got an exam Monday arvo, so I'm really not sure what to do
It'll be alright if the shows start at a reasonable time, eg. 10, but if they're not starting to 12, I might have to give Sunday a miss

internet, get in there straight at 9am and make sure you are signed in
have you ever bought tickets online for a big concert before? if so, any problems?
-
Any of my fellow Aussies got a recommendation for me?
-
any recommendations?

damn university
now there's no gold GA tickets left in the presale
looks like thursday morning it is for me
yes there is, go there now.
this is for acer arena
it says there are tickets left, but then when you try to buy even one, it says "Unable to obtain the tickets you requested. The event may be sold out or the number of tickets requested are greater than the maximum available adjacent seats."
how many tickets are you after
2. why?
problem is, don't know if now i'm after GA or reserved seating, cause me dad just got a couple of tickets through some presale and we're not sure what section they're for

if the shows are canceled some time in advance, and we've already bought tickets, we get a refund right?
-
wtf is going on?
-
i was at the annandale show as well
fuck they're good
probably the tightest set i've been to
btw, mick, you weren't up at byron were you at the end of last year?
-
yeah, just saw that myself
anyone got any idea what's going on, cause i'm trying to organise buying tickets for tomorrow
-
how the hell do you get to this latest presale from the ticketek homepage?
-
I'm an Aussie GNR fan getting tickets to the Sydney show, but can't make up my mind whether I should get a General Admission ticket or a reserved seat
Normally, I probably would just get GA, but given that this is a concert I really want to appreciate, plus the fact that I'd have to wait a long time not only to get a good position at the concert itself, but then for Axl and Co. to arrive onstage, makes me more inclined to get reserved seating.
There's also the fact that I'm average height, only about 6 foot, and may be going with my younger brother, who's only 15
What would you people who have been to GNR shows recommend for me?

This thread is shit for the most part
Best bands today (by far):
Iron Maiden and Radiohead
-
a belated reply, but w000000!!!!
i'll be at acer arena
how's everyone going to get tickets if there's no presale?
internet or early morning line outside ticketek?
-
all radiohead is awesome
they're a band who know how to treat their fans well at concerts, ie, they vary the setlist EACH night
i don't think they've ever played the same setlist
-
in Australia anyway, and im guessin there will be no news.
nov. 21 is almost over for us
the rest of the world is so far behind
-
how funny would it be if this shipped album turned out to be the supernova album
i had to suppress the urge to burst out laughing right then cause i'm in a library
that'd be hilarious

People go on and on about stairway to heaven solo being the best solo ever, which is bull shit, I wouldn't rank it in the top 10 - it took me less than 2 hours to learn then about a day to get it up to speed - best solo of all time is Another brick in the Wall, the licks are so inovative and genius and constant, when they recorded it they should have cranked that solo, it's amazing to learn.
wow, you can copy a solo, good on you
there's just a slight difference between creating something like that solo and being able to mimic it
Wow, that had 0 relevance to what I was talking about
to quote the poster below you
HAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAH
Im not even gonna comment, dude, its no use talking to someone who judges a solo by how long it takes him to figure out how to play it.

But if you havent been convinced go directly to Physical Graphitti cos it still sounds current whereas some older songs sound like an old band.i actually thought that myself this evening whilst listening to that album
