Steve....I got that issue at a Book Off last year for 80 yen.
Got home and started having a horrible allergic reaction. The damn thing was so musty and moldy my whole apartment stank.
Sadly, I had the throw it out immediately.
It sucked destroying a GNR artifact that was so old and possibly rare, but it was a toxic deathtrap. Had to be done.
I've occasionally encountered that problem with Book Off purchases as well. However, I see and acquire old issues of Rockin' On etc. with G n' R covers all the time so if you have a want list feel free to send it to me via private message.

Oh, I thought you were the one going to go to all three venues to get merch?

That's me, if all goes well.

Thanks dude, won't have time tomorrow as I'll be heading to Yokohama but I'll take a walk there on Thursday and see what's up!
As a by the way, it's not too far from the Nishi-Shinjuku "bootleg district". The best store is probably Blind Faith, but Strangelove Records, Shinjuku Records and Lighthouse Records are also worth browsing. There is also Crazy Mama, which is all Rolling Stones. All of these are within five to ten minutes walking distance of one another.

I was thinking about using one of these lockers you can find in a lot of Japanese train stations, but not 100% sure if Kikuna station have some.
Probably, but you should bring a poster tube just in case.

It's the view of Mount Fuji, probably from the Park Hyatt Hotel in Nishi-Shinjuku. Del James tweeted a photo of Godzilla atop the Hotel Gracercy in Shinjuku earlier today, and Melissa tweeted a photo from Harajuku.

If I wasn't all the way out in Saitama I'd have taken my chances standing around the station to try to spot them!
Waste of time.

I've not been here for long, any suggestion about which hotel could fulfill their needs?
Famous musicians often stay at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo near Roppongi Hills. The Park Hyatt in Shinjuku or the Hotel Okura are also good bets.
In 1992, their last visit to Japan together, they stayed at the Hilton International in Nishi-Shinjuku.

If one cared about reducing the myriad impacts of climate change, how could one countenance voting for a candidate who refuses to acknowledge it is a problem?
If you have gay friends and family members that you want to see have equal freedom to live their life, how could you countenance voting for a candidate who has stated his intention to strip them of their currently existing right to get married? (To say nothing of his Vice President).
It's the political equivalent being on an iceberg that's breaking up and one guy's going about pushing people off, saying "Sorry guys, you know how it is, if you all stay there'll be no room for me... gotta look out for number one."
Your argument seems to be, "Why can't you empathise with his sense of self-preservation? maybe he feels bad about it as he's pushing them off...".
He's still pushing them off.
I haven't seen a single argument for a right-wing way of creating a caring and compassionate society since this discussion began. The sum total of that argument seems to be "Why can't you just accept it's an ugly dog-eat-dog world and let us get on with it?". Instead, there's been scorn thrown at the left for having the audacity to be critical, but if you're a proponent of what you perceive to be social justice then it makes sense to criticise those who deliberately make decisions that perpetuate social injustice for the sake of their own benefit.
I don't think I'm being cruel or unreasonable here.
Climate change and gay marriage may be important to you but for most they're actually far left-wing, fringe issues that have no bearing on who one will cast a vote for.

So, as Yokohama Arena is so close to Tokyo, I assume they'll be heading here tomorrow and stay at the same hotel until the Saitama shows.
Any thoughts on where would that be?
Most likely they'll remain in Tokyo for the duration of their stay to handle promotional duties, etc. and just commute to Yokohama and Saitama.

...and now this from Melissa Reese within the past hour...I honestly feel I'm just about ready to pull the plug on this band.

Frank is VERY good on drums. It's perfect.
Agreed. These online recordings don't do him justice. He delivers a great live sound.

Some nice runs and behind the back soloing from Slash to close out the show tonight. Perhaps an excellent bootleg recording will change my opinion but as it stands I'd rate this performance at 7 on a 10 scale. Hopefully they'll kick it up a notch later this week.

Sounds like his throat was exposed too long to the cold on the way in.

That was the weakest Knocking On Heaven's Door I've ever heard them do. Where's the fucking energy tonight? I'm starting to think they're just phoning this one in.

The feeling is that coma Will be dropped tonight ! Utlh instead ?
I would not mind if they dropped Coma altogether. It's a creepy song that no longer reflects where Axl (or any of the others) are at in this stage of their lives now. I'd prefer to hear them attempt something else from Chinese Democracy instead. Back Off Bitch would also be a good choice.
If Duff wears that Woman's March t-shirt onstage tonight I'll puke.

Because turning to the right to solve problems of poverty caused by unemployment and low wages is the equivalent of trying to put out a house fire with a flamethrower.
The problem with turning to the left to solve problems of any sort is eventually they'll run out of other people's money.

Why choose when you can do both?! ^^
Where did you get the merch timing info?
I plan to attend all three shows.
The merchandise on sale times come from the tour promoter, creativeman.

Just realized Yokohama was just an hour away by train from Tokyo...
If I can find a decent priced ticket, I may attend.
An hour at the most. Plenty of tickets are still available, as most prefer to see them at the much nicer Saitama Arena this weekend. I do love Yokohama, however.

Merchandise goes on sale to the general public Wed at 3pm (Yokohama), Sat at 1pm (Saitama) & Sun at noon (Saitama).
