how many of this music geniouses with master degrees have records that sell over 20 million copies? and how many of them are recognized as great artists? if they know what great music is i guess they make great music. can you give me some names of these guys?

That's not what their job is, that's the artists job.

These guys sign the cheques, and authorise the expenses, they pay for your gear, studio time, and your touring costs, and promo... And they pay your managers and agents to get you on Letterman, or Conan, Today Show, GMA, magazines, newspaper interviews. This is a different world, it's got very little to do with art. These are the people most 20 million selling artists thank first when they get their multi platinum plaques and grammys.

for what they say, they know what is good art, so i guess they hav dioscovered or are working with great artists, i'd lke to know some names, for all their credentials(masters, schools) it seems like their opinion has more value than the other people, weahter you like one band or not, so if they're so great i want to know what they're doing. I don't think they're doing he job you said to som random guy or band.

Totally, I think Axl shoudl work with Izzy again, writing songs and performing. GN'R is Axl + Izzy the rest have been great musicians, great partners but they're just additional memebers that pulish what Axl and Izzy created.

Axl and Izzy, plus Bucket or Robin or any otehr great musician would've created amazing music.

Axl, Robin, Brain, Buckethead, Tommy. Dizzy, Chris and Richard they were amazing. Best line up ever.

Well, this guy should compare G N' R with some sport team, like the Dallas Cowboys, AC Milan or anyone else, like in the cowboys where Aikman or Staubauch are no longer the QB's but a lot of fans still going to the staduim and support the team, not starbucks, it's a different kind of brand, and i think of G N' R when i listen the name Axl, Izzy, Slash, Robin, Tommy...etc.
