I was at that Hammerstein show in 2006 when Kid Rock came out and sang Nightrain with Axl.  Didn't know what to think, but he really was a nice accompaniment.  Kid Rock has a lot of Axl in his image, I've always thought of him as the "White Trash Axl Rose" lol

Someone needs to tell Alan that these fictitious characters aren't real:  The Devil, God, Santa, The Easter Bunny and The Tooth Fairy.  He'll be devastated, but he's old enough now that he should know.

I honestly don't know if we are going to get any better vocals on GN'R songs this summer (I hope we do though), I think this is more a matter of Axl's current voice is just perfect for ACDC, he oddly fits ACDC better than his own stuff.

I think a lot of this is Axl is getting to sing music that Axl likes.  I'm not a musician, but nobody could possibly like their own songs as much as they like whatever music they enjoy listening to.  The guy is excited, it'd be like if one of us (who had ridiculous vocal talent, so probably none of us) got to front GN'R.

I will say this, if you guys are right and ALL these audios are legit --- it's unbelievable. Even without clear audio, it sounds spot on classic AC/DC. The AC/DC Axl haters can suck it.

No question.  Anyone who labeled this is the worst idea ever etc, will be really sick of crow by the time its over.  I think the best examples for me on BIB are from 1:18-1:25 and then again at 3:05.  In the first section its pretty clear its current day Axl, then at 3:05 he does the nasal Axl sound growl that Johnson doesn't do at all in the same way.  EDIT - I meant those times on Thunderstruck lol.  Been listening to these on a loop too long, back to work hahaha

I hear it in the Thunderstruck audio, but not on the other one. And it's far from far-fetched to think that someone could come up with the idea of trolling.

If you want to buy in 100% to all the audios that have come forth thus far, more power to you. I certainly am not saying that you are wrong nor poking fun at anybody. I'm just not 100% sure, that's all.

No I get it, and I'm not deriding you at all.  Just listen to how he ends words/notes, it trails off in that certain manner.  Annunciation is slightly different than Johnson on certain things too, such as the word black.  I will say he sounds more akin to Johnson on BIB than Thunderstruck (which is cool either way) so I get where it could be questionable.

Again, maybe you like being duped. I don't. I'm not buying 100% into all of these youtube leaks just yet. Thunderstruck is the only one I'm confident about right now.

I don't know exactly what to point to, but I mean we've all listened to Axl far more than is healthy and its all in the subtleties.  Similarities to Johnson or no, you can just tell when its Axl singing.  It could be Estranged, Back In Black, the fucking alphabet song, when its Axl you just hear it.  BIB is unquestionably Axl.  

Wow, who thought in 2014 that Axl would be able to belt out Back In Black like that?

Holy hell, people.  The guy is 54, looks normal for someone of 54, and atop that, was at one point in his life better looking than 99% of the population.  Cut him some slack, he's just some dude when it comes down to it.

This is awful.  Alert me when GN'R hits.  My fucking dog was turning his head side to side trying to figure out what the odd frequency of noise was.

Any way to not have to use the 360 thing?  This seems like its just a gimmick to allow them to be lazy with production.  At least if GN'R is streamed Axl is stationary lol

Slash's solos on KOHD seem really weird so far.  Axl has been changing it up a bit, but he's changed KOHD a lot over the years, so no big deal.  But Slash's solos seem almost broken up or struggling

Can't believe the GN'R move is actually gonna be made.  This could be absolutely awesome... or absolutely the worst thing ever.  Hopefully they don't try to pull an actors singing thing, that WILL NOT WORK when portraying Axl.
