  1. Tommy Stinson – founding member of The Replacements and current bass player for Guns N’ Roses and Soul Asylum – will release his second solo effort, One Man Mutiny, on his own Done To Death Music label (distributed by Redeye) on August 30. Stinson will donate a portion of the net proceeds from the sale of the album to the Timkatec Schools in Haiti. "I'm finding it a lot more interesting to make music these days," says Stinson. "Especially given the musical climate as of the last few years – there are a lot of people complaining about how bad it is. I am actually embracing the challenges."

  2. Kneel down, ye sinners - to streetwise religion - greed's been crowned the new king.

Nikki Sixx is a great songwriter in his own rite.

I hate when you persons take on Axl Rose's views as your own, like you're an extension of him by doing so. I bet he still jams some old crew every now and again.

Some bands are just rockers, and even if they don't inject the intelligence into the music that Axl does, that doesn't mean that they don't have the attitude and the feel.

I didn't say *persons, I called you *persons

  3. I think I now admire and respect MUCH more the guy.

Baz is still a bitch, how is he a hero? Baz will suck a cock for axl rose. I didnt even read the full article, but doesnt axl rose have security?

God, you're a fuckin' pussy, you can just tell.

Fuck off and quit hatin' on the Baz for going on instinct.

I'm sure you would have run off and sprinted home to your computer where you could also declare all knife-wielding thugs cocksuckers, too.

    SAVAGE ANIMAL!

  4. Yeah, he's done very well on the songs I've heard. Very big improvement from Robin, who fucked up SCOM every time he tried it.

Really, dude? Robin shined on SCOM and killed the solos every single time. Fuck you, your opinion sucks.

  5. I think this thread is dumb, but I find it impossible not to add on.

Their hey-days were before the guest appearence era, but these 2 on the same song would have been the most relevant song of the 1990's, I guarantee it!

  6. It's really different seeing Axl with this kind of hair.

It also proves to all those people who said he was going bald that they were WRONG!!!

Dude be serious, he IS going bald but good transplants can make it seem like he's not. Yes it looks alot better now but he was butchered when he first had the procedure done some 10 years ago. You ever stop and think how the hell his hair could be significantly thicker and fuller than it was 15 years ago???

Except it isn't significantly fuller or thicker than it was 15 years ago, it's about the same, if not a little thinner or styled different. You guys act like Axl had thick hair years ago. He's always had the same straight, thin hair.

I own 3 hair salons and have been in the business for 15+ years, and believe me, Axl's hair has much more body and volume than it did say back in '93 and you can only get that with thicker hair. It was always thin (think fine) even in his early-mid 20's and that is NOT the case now. It's also pretty well known that he had transplants some time ago which didn't go well. He's since had them redone and yes they do look good, even in the high-res photos from LAX it looks completely natural. But to say his hair is the same volume-wise as it was in '93, and that he HASN'T had any procedures, is just silly.

I saw these guys on New Year's @ the Hard Rock, the last show before the VMAs and the braids.

I can tell you, unequivocally, that this dudes hair wasn't thin or receding or fucked up in any way.

I don't know why he did the full braids, he had only a few at that show, and it did look terrible, but it wasn't to cover things up.

Your hair salon isn't a detective agency.
