  1. check out Tesla's Reel to Real albums all songs are classic rock covers I thought they were great, and they have a new CD commin in Oct.

You most likely remember Tesla for their hit Love Song or the acoustic cover of Signs but they are much more then those two songs most underrated band ever imo. 2nd to only GN'R for me.

Real to Reel #1 (track listing)

  2. Samples from the Beastie Boys album Licensed to Ill......

Rhymin & Stealin - Contains samples from "Sweet Leaf" by Black Sabbath, "When the Levee Breaks" by Led Zeppelin, & "I Fought the Law" by The Clash

She's Crafty - Contains samples from "The Ocean" by Led Zeppelin

Slow Ride - Contains samples from "Low Rider" by War

Time to Get Ill - Contains samples from "Boogie on Reggae Woman" by Stevie Wonder, "Take the Money and Run" by the Steve Miller Band, "Down on the Corner" by Creedence Clearwater Revival, "Custard Pie" by Led Zeppelin, "Gucci Time" by Schoolly D, and excerpts from the theme music from Green Acres and Mister Ed

I was thinking about "No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn" on the same album cuz it's got a rock sound to it, but I don't know if that one does.

I LOVE "She's Crafty".:heart: One of my favs by them.

Some say No Sleep samples AC/DC's T.N.T. while others Joan Jetts I love Rock and Roll. Kerry King plays on it too.

The guitar solo is played by Slayer guitarist Kerry King, who had also released an album produced by Rick Rubin in 1986 (Reign in Blood). The song also contains samples from "T.N.T." by AC/DC (though tuned in a different way). The video is a spoof of heavy metal music. The name of the song itself is a spoof on Motörhead's No Sleep 'til Hammersmith album.
  3. There's an 2 Pac song (released not long ago) which features an Elton John sample. Don't know how the song is called.

    found it.

"Ghetto Gospel" is a song by rapper Tupac Shakur, which was remixed and released as the second single on his 2004 album Loyal to the Game. The song was written by Tupac Shakur and produced by Eminem. The song samples the Elton John song Indian Sunset from his 1971 album Madman Across the Water.

  5. August 31st Tagg Radio has heard from a very reliable source in Fedor's camp that the UFC has offered Fedor Emelianenko two million dollars per fight for four fights. Fedor's deal will also allow him to fight in Russia. Emelianenko's camp is on their way back to Russia to as we speak to hopefully seal the deal.

Their new CD Real to Reel which is covers of their favorite 60's and 70's rock songs kicks ass.
