It's a song without much screaming, using axl's lower register.  I always assumed it was just to give his voice one last bit of rest before going all out on paradise city.  

"Estranged."  I loved seeing it live in 2011, but in truth I was standing there 4 rows from the front in LA with my eyes closed pretending it was Slash.  Seeing it the way it was written would bring me right back to when I first got into the band, seventeen years ago.

I saw that same ad. Its a televised performance of Camp Freddy, and they introduced the guests as Dave Navarro, Duff from GNR, Matt Sorum and Scott Weiland from VR. Why they said Duff was from GNR instead of VR, I don't know, but probably just because its a more famous name. GNR won't be there, I don't think one should read too much into it.

I was at the Minneapolis show as well. It was fun being the only person in my section that knew all the words to Madagascar, the Blues, and Chinese democracy. Does anyone know if there is a dvd bootleg of this show somewhere?
