ahh good to see some people appreciate swing these days. i just love to listen to the expert writings of all those composers. one style of music that always makes me happy. also i play sax so thats how i got into it. love to play it too
I'd love to see a swing club open around here.

i just uploaded pictures onto my computer but there is no preview shown in the windows picture and fax viewer (default)

An amp won't make a bad guitar and/or guitarist sound good. I've played 800s, DSLs, TSLs, VMs, 900s (this is my current amp), 600s you name it. They're all good for different purposes. Unless there is a technical fault (e.g. faulty valve), none of them produce shit tone...unless you make them produce shit tone.
the amps had shit tone. so did the bass amp they had which was an ampeg

Also stay away from JCM's. They suck, IMO

Personally, i think the guitar effect on rising sun is awful. and the singer, well, lets not go there. He's tone deaf.
Smile sounds good. but could have a lot of work done on it

1408 in dvd has a different ending as that of the movie...anyone know why?
Hmm, I'm not sure. I'd like to see it. I really enjoyed 1408. A lot.
EDIT: Has anyone heard anything about There Will Be Blood? We've got it here at the house and I'm debating if I want to watch that or Walk Hard.
i watched the start of there will be blood. there's a real lack of dialouged at the start of the movie when they are drilling for oil...kinda bored me so i stopped watching it
