There's a GNR special issue coming out on spanish magazine THIS IS ROCK, it will be available the same day as Guns N Roses are playing the Juan Carlos I auditorium in Madrid in front of 10,000+ fans.

It says it will have a complete history of the band from the beginnings, to the CD days with the current band.

To be honest, I don't even know how I'm going to go back to Valencia... The first bus of the 26th leaves at around 7AM, and I don't even know if I'm going to stay at a hotel or what... I have no idea...

has both a good sense of melody and the superspeed (and being that he was Bucket's teacher at one point and all...). It won't be him, but it ain't gonna be Mustaine or 5 either, so...

I know that we cannot be asking for every little problem that goes on the way, but some of us, I think maybe 12.000 people, need to know when the concert is going to take place.

The people in Spain is starting to doubt, no need to say something worse. And I'm not threatning, ok? This is only a question of respect for us the spanish people that already have bought the tickets for may, the 28th, to see our favourite band & frontman of all time.

But like Alan said people like to wait 'til the last minute to buy tickets (y más por estos lares... spain is different). If it didn't sell out, I'd still be extremely happy...

what band can sell 10000 tickets with no promotion what so ever, with no album out, with no certainty of what the line-up is, and with the added scepticism caused by cancellations and shit press?

I just went with a friend of mine to get another ticket to the show today at 6PM.

The tickets that are "Sould Out" are the seating tickets (there's only like about twenty left, so they'll be gone this week). So anyway, she got a general admission (entrada general) ticket and it was number 4870.

So that number added to the 4320 seating tickets makes a little bit over 9000 tickets, the Auditorio Juan Carlos I is supposed to hold 13000 all together, so there's still about 3800 tickets left (30% of total).

There's still a month left until May 28th, so I'm sure it well sell out eventually, but it hasn't yet.

By the way, nobody is "lying", there is just some mistaken info regardin the Madrid show right here:

I recorded (audio) the show in Seville (Spain) in 92 (June 30) , and I want to record (in audio too) the show in Madrid (May 28).

What was the setlist for that date? I searched for it at gnrontour.com but it's icomplete

Sería muy triste encontrarse con fans pijillos. En los conciertos de U2 ya pasa lo mismo desde hace años. Parejitas besándose en 'With or Without You' sin haber escuchado el 'Achtung Baby' en su vida.

Pasará, creeme... conozco a bastante gente que solo conoce de Guns N'Roses los singles de Los 40.

Sinceramente creéis que esos "fans" aún se acuerdan de Guns N Roses? Ha pasado más de una década...

No ha habido una promoción masiva de este concierto (ni creo que gasten mucho dinero en llevarla a cabo, pq por lo visto se está vendiendo muy bien). La única manera de enterarse es por noticias de internet o por radios tipo Rock&Gol, etc. Así que, de momento, no creo que haya mucho fan fofo... y si lo hay pues bien por él, si un moñas se lleva la entrada de un "fan auténtico", es pq éste no ha movido el culo en su momento.

How do you know how many tickets where sold?, I got my ticket but I'd like to keep track of the ticket sales for Madrid, 'cause a couple of friends want to attend but they won't get paid 'til monday... I hope it works out for them.
