I agree, People like it when stars go on that show and make fun of themselves, its very good PR and also recieved positively by media spinners and tv viewers. Axl should guest star on SNL and Jimmy Kimmel should interview him. He should stay away from daytime talk shows.

GNR fans have a tremendous LOYALTY to Axl and GNR. I have read threads where fans have written to Journalists who reported bad reviews and set them straight and demanded retractions. I Expect that fans will stand up to the naysayers and give them a piece of there minds; if in fact other people try to make the new GNR appear foolish. The Fact is the new music IS Better then anything out there right now. Chinese Democracy can survive on its own laurels, the music world has been dominated by Rap for far too long and if those kind of people who listen to ghetto music have an adverse opinion about GNR, I seriously doubt Axl would give it any validity.

My Pick would be Jimmy Kimmel, the late night show. Hes funny and laid back non-obtrusive but entertaining. Loder was good in 92 but in 2002 he was less enthusiastic towards axl.

Ive encountered extremely supportive fans on the message boards. This loyalty over years and years of time. You know warchild perhaps your 19 or 20 years old, can you imagine some of the fans that post here have waited 13 years for new material, since you were 3 or 4 years old. Ive heard stories of fans who traveled planes, trains, buses, withstood rainstorms, etc etc and had Mr Rose cancel, or show up 3 hours late or give a less then enthusiastic performance. I would say if they are frustrated at the "new gnr" over a less zealous enthusiasm and promptness in releasing the cd, that is is perfectly warranted to make some negative comments at a message board. Just because fans vent doesnt necessasarily translate to GNR or AXl haters and its absurd to suggest that in the first place. Keep in mind its the fans that pay the concert tickets and purchase the music.

Perhaps you should make a thread titled " Women you would like to see Axl Rose date" It would be interesting to see the choices fans would pick for him.

Moreblack, i will bitch about the bitching because this is a forum where people are entitled to their opinions. Especially if i dont agree with people going on about Axl's hair and overall look. Axl is a musician we should talk about his music if we want to criticise or compliment anything. would you like people to walk up to you in the street and pick faults with the way you look? especially if they dont know you??? i suspect you'd probably punch them. The internet gives people a forum to talk about shit they would not normally talk about to someones face. If anythings lame its the fact that people are total pussies and do it on a forum like the way some people do here rather than say it to Axl's face. I'm fairly sure he'd knock them out if they told him he looked stupid or better still totally ignore the low life shit wasting his time.

Kaneda, i agree to a point but.. like i keep saying. We are fans. We are not entitled to any new album. We are not entitled to news. Fans support the band. When there is news and an ready album we'll hear about it. I've no doubt about that.

I guess Axl would be totally justified to never release a new album. What is the point? So GNR can get bashed more? So people can download it critisise it? So people can talk about his image, personal life, drinking and partying?

Axl is employed by the fans. Many stars adapt to being critiqued by the public with no more then a shrug. If He is oversensitive about the way his personal image is received by fans. He is in the wrong business.

Correct, Axl has financial obligations and is not making a huge profit currently. His own judgement put him in this situation. He has employees to pay .
