Well, now one of my videos on YouTube is gone as well, so we can imagine it’s a focused attack. Heard from several members from nightrain their stuff is taken down as well. No real bigger wave, but focused on the Nightrain members who are active.

I was one of the last ones to eventually change my profile pic (this was a Against racism picture lots of us used there to sympathize with a user who was attacked and made fun of with some very sick racist picture - done by mojo. After a few weeks everyone changed it back and I was a bit late). As a result: 2 hrs ago all my live videos I shot during GN’R shows the last two years got deleted from my Instagram account. Live videos I shot for the GN’R family. No personal gain at all. Clearly handpicked out of all of my posts. Even the ones which were edited and started without sound and with a photo, so no bot work. Seen these personal “attacks” before and apparently I was next. Only thing I’ve done in the last few months that could have possibly been a reason for someone to report my videos and was the fact that i changed my profile pic.

Correct, that’s what the UMG rep told me at the AFD release party in Amsterdam. And he really seemed to know about the talks about the golden opportunity. He also told me he went to the record label presentation of the box set in LA, weeks before it was announced. But... a week later, I happened to talk a bit to Fernando and he claimed that in fact the golden opportunity was indeed still in one of the box sets. And he said only about 5 people knew about the hidden tape before it was found.

You can clearly hear Axl layered in the background of the chorus. Nice of him to lend his pipes.
I don’t think that’s Axl. He isn’t credited (only for co-writing the track with West Arkeen, Del James and Danny Clarke who was in this band) in the booklet either. I think the singer of Asphalt Ballet, Tommy Dean, is the one you hear doing some overdubs.

In this interview with Rolling Stone magazine in February 2000, Axl already stated he wanted to remove it from future releases of GN’R Lies. Because he believed “they’re too easily misinterpreted”. The article mentions that the track will be deleted from future pressings, though that never happened. (I looked at every single new copy I could find in stores since 😉.) So maybe this is the reason behind it all.

My personal opinion is that this definitely is a coincidence but a great one!
Had to put the car aside when I heard it!! And it was real! 
Never had the intention to claim Slash wrote that riff, or bash the formations post-Slash&Duff, but wanted to share a funny musical coincidence (IMO!!!
). But nice to see the discussions.
Had these clips on my phone for a few months and when I recently started this instagram account to show my GN'R stuff, I thought it was nice to share this. Feel free to have a look and follow me, I'll be adding stuff on a daily base.

Hey Darknemus someone said Axl talked to a dutch radio station and said the problem with the leaks would be solved at the end of March,referring to the release of CD.Have you heard anything about that
Nope - funny thing is there's a Dutch girl here at work who is always listening to some online Dutch radio station, too. But she's on vacation today. I was going to ask her to see if she could find out anything.

wow... ok, this is getting a little out of hand. :-) as I said earlier on another forum:
I have had several email contacts with this radio dj from Veronica. (this started when the new Axl pics -with the goatee- showed up) I've showed him those pics. He was pretty cool about it all, and thanked me on national radio. So, the day after IRS & Better were leaked, I told him about it, and that they were floating around. I used the word 'clip', but in Dutch that mainly means "videoclip'. My mistake, but I was reading the word in English context everywhere... So, it's very probable they didn't have the (audio) clips yet by the time they published this article on their site. (Since they believed a videoclip was leaked, instead of the audio file)
I also told him about SLASH's remarks on the release of CD in March. He probably didn't 'understand' me well, and published a slightly different story of AXL saying this... Kinda freedom of expression... :-)
Today I got an email of him saying he might wanna play it during his show. I haven't been able to listen to it the whole 2 hours, so don't know if he did yet. (I told him that it'll probably be illegal, but he wasn't convinced...) Tomorrow he's got another show, so who knows...
Anyway, hope this clears things up a bit. The source was informed by me (maybe some others as well), but "rearranged" my info a bit.

I believe beta wasn’t defending the guy, but that guy twisted it and make it seem she did. I believe she was talking about the other one. The one has been around for decades and has some serious issues.
