I couldn't get anything off of those links.

The Trew's were a lot better than I though they would be. I'd see them again.

Great review, I agree on pretty much ever thing you said. And thanks for the links to the videos. Much appreciated.

I have do disagree with some of your points. Richard Fortus' and Bumblefoot's guitar solo's were great; Don't Cry being one of the highligts of the night. Better and The Blues were both great as always. I found Axl's voice to be strong for the entire performance, and he was alway's energetic. And I can't believe that you didn't enjoy Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Patience, and November Rain. Seems to me that you don't like the slower paced songs, which I thought were fantastic.
Though I do agree that Axl's voice was lost in the mix for the first couple of songs. He did get it straightened out before long.

Rocket Queen and Madagascar; it was great!

Did anybody record it?

The Trailer Park Boy's came out and sang that one with Axl. It was just them goofing around.Liquor And Whores???It was an awsome show though. Axl's voice was strong throughout the entire concert. The highlights for me were Madagasgar, Bumblefoot's Don't Cry, Rocket Queen, Sweet Child O' Mine, the start of Welcome to the Jungle, and Patience. I didn't get back until 7 AM.
Dizzy's solo was a cover of Angie.
And besides the time of day that they hit the stage, the only thing that I can see wrong with thing concert is that Axl doesn't introduce the new songs. It's not a problem for those of us that have heard them already, but 90% of the crowd has no idea what the songs are.

Be reasonable. $125 isn't asking much, and I'm only trying to break even.

Kaneda's original post was legit and I don't understand you some of you flame him for this. It's common knowledge that most people blame Axl for the breakup of the original Guns N' Roses and think his new band is a joke. I personally think the new band is great but I am in the minority.

Steel Wheels isn't that bad of an album.

Hey,
I'm trying to get rid of two upper bowl tickets, section 35. I'm only asking $125 CDN for the pair which is what I paid for them online.
If you are interested or know of anyone who is please let me know.
Thanks,
Ian

The Upper Bowl in the Metro Centre isn't bad at all. The venue holds 10,000, so there isn't really a bad seat. Think of it this way, the upper bowl in the Metro Centre is really equal to the lower bowl in any other, larger arena.
The only people complaining about it are little kids who are having fits because there mommies weren't willing to waste their time by trying to get best seats in the building.

No way can the Metro Centre hold 20,000 people. Straight from www.halifaxmetocentre.com:
Accommodates up to 10,000 seats

There aren't really any bad seats in the metro centre. I mean, it only hold's like 10,000 people.

Did they play Madagascar, or did they play Chinese Democracy instead of it?
