    Roskilde consert really got bashed in the media. I have seen Albany and Boston, but leeds is so much better. Axls looks like hes in the late 80s on stage.

    wow, Carlos Mencia, Sean Penn, and Jesus in the same pic......J/K, everything is comigh together, it really looks and feels like a band. i guess axl was right about the band, when he talked about them in the Trunk interview.

    one more thought......Robin looks more and more like Jesus everyday.

    Do we really know how Jesus looks like?

    To everyone who struggles with the black box after the commericail, do this. I've had a black screen for hours now, but it works for me now. At this moment I'm watching The Darkness.

    Well, I did that for 1 hour ago maybe and it didn't work, and now i just switched it back to autodetect and it fucking worked!!

    I think the solo was very good. He played with a lot of feelings there. I have to admit that I like Robin Finck more and more now. He is much better now, just compare it to the solo in 02. Even you die-hard Finck fans must admit that he messed up that part back then.

    Right now, IMO the best things about GNR are

    Axl Rose, his voice, his stage presence, his lyrics

    Robin and Richard - Probably the best guitar duo in rock right now

    On the bass guitar, Tommy Stinson

    On the drums, Brain. He really is the best drummer GNR has ever had.

    Dizzy on the keys!

    And then you have Chris Pittman.

    tommy stinson is a good bassist and so is duff. but duff is a helluva lot more worthy to be in gnr than stinson, not cuz he was an original member, mainly cuz he is a real rock n roller. Stinson was in a garage band that got lucky, i honestly never heard opf the replacements untill i herd he was in gnr. If you walk up to a kid and ask "who is kooler, duff mckagan or tommy stinson?" they will say "who the fuck is tommy stinson?" i think they are pretty equal as for talent (on just bass, tommy's writing is so-so but duff is pretty good), but duff is more of an icon than stinson will ever be

    You said it man. I totaly agree. Without Duff we wouldn't have the nice intros in It's So Easy, SCOM and YCBM. Duff is a rock n roller, and that is what the GNR-members should be. And the only members who are rock n rollers are Axl, Dizzy and Fortus. The rest are Goth/Hip Hop/Punk dudes.

    If Slash worked on Chinese Democracy it would outsell AFD

    look, slash is a great guitarist.........when someone pulls it out of him. that was the axl-slash relationship. they each got something out of each others talents and it clicked. axl's amazing vocal ability(writing also) and slash's amazing guitar work complemented each other.

    .....but its over, slash is off with a shitty band making music that thay should be ashamed of. honestly, i dont want slash back. slash is a hipacritical asshole, and everyone here knows it. i personally want to see axl on stage with this new band.why? because after hearing the demos, this band fucking rocks. but who am i kidding, the orginal 32 second IRS clip from April 1st 2005 was better than anything velvet revolver has done.

    Oh God I hate those new fans. Seriously, if you don't want Slash back, you can't call yourself a real fan.

    This is so pathetic. Now band members are stating Sept, hopefully. I mean, enough of these ambiguous dates with words like, hopefully, maybe, should see it, attached to them. How many times have we looked to September as a release date? Wasn't the band supposed to get back together in 2003 to rehearse then for a winter release? It's the same shit again.

    Why is Axl going to take the stage again with no release date set? September is going to come and go and then it's going to be more rumors of Christmas, then more claims that Spring 2007 has to be the date.

    Axl is going to use this tour to "SEE HOW IT GOES", well, it's going to go poorly, the same as last time, and here's why; with no album out, what is he going to play, the same setlist?

    Well, I hope they play old songs rather then new. And I know that many Norwegians and Swedes want to hear the old songs. I think it would be more successful if they did use the same setlist. Mabe not in US, but in Europe. What if they opened with TWAT or Madagascar instead of WTTJ or It's So Easy. I think that would be a "turn-off". :confused:

    The shooting down of the reunion rumours doesn't bother me, they were extremely unlikely anyway. What does bother me, is the possibility of rifts in the VR camp. If that's true, whether you want Slash back in GnR or not is irrelevant because Slash wont be in any band at all... then everybody loses.

    Wrong. If Slash doesn't come back to GNR and VR breaks up, I wont be losing any sleep over it. He left 10 fucking years ago. who cares.

    That's the most ridiculous I have ever heard! They rock the shit out of the old band? Eh... Most of them stand still right on the same spot throughout the hole gig. The old band had much more energy. Especially Slash who ran around and jumped down from the upper scene. They had much more feeling and chemestry when they played. If you looked up Rock N Roll in a dictionary, you would se a picture of Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Steven.

    "Fink rocks he does amazing solos and GNR DOES NOT NEED SLASH GET OVER IT". Well, first of all Finck is not a rocker, but a goth. And if you were a real GNR fan, your heart would be teared apart when he screws up Slash's solos. GNR NEED SLASH. ADMIT IT!

    And BTW: It isn't just the solos Finck screws up. Watch and hear his backup singing at "I used ta do a little

    but a little wouldn't do it so the little got more and more" in Mr. Brownstone. Aww that's scary shit.

    It'll be VERY interesting to see what Axl does to the live shows so that he gets a break during the action. During the Illusions era, we had drum solo's and guitar solo's, sometimes as long as 20-30+ mins during the show. Then on the 2002 tour, Buckethead would do his solo, nunchucks, giving away toys (?? WTF!). Finck's solo's were limited to a couple of minutes.......

    Now its only Robin and Fortus. Do you think Finck could handle say 15 mins on stage on his own so uncle Axl can catch his breath? Can the guy even jam? I guess he can, he is a professional guitar player afterall. But will it be any good?........ I'd honestly be surprised if Axl could do a 2-3 hour show now without his famous breaks during the shows........

    I hope your kidding. Who would say no to having Slash and Izzy back. Then they could have made that good ol' rock N roll music again.
