Fantastic review!!! I had the pleasure of seeing them twice on this tour. You are correct in saying that he left us wanting more. I was invited backstage to hang with Ron, Dizzy, Frank, and Chris after the show in Harbour Station. They are VERY nice to their fans and were more than welcome to have pictures taken and give out autographs. This IS Guns n Roses!!!

Right? I'll take about 15 shows anywhere in New England or New Brunswick. I've seen them twice on this tour and I still feel like there is a void there. Kind of like I absolutely NEED to see them again. It honestly was that good.

That would be a freakin awesome show!!! The B-Techs are an up and coming rock band from the states. I met the guitar player backstage with Bumblefoot in St. John NB. Bumblefoot took his CD and I listened to it. It f#ckin rocked!!! Anyway, I've seen GNR twice this year. Once in Worcester, Mass and then in St. John. Best shows I've been to in my life. Have fun guys n girls!!!

This worked for me in Worcester, Mass and St. John NB. Make a sign that says, "Bumblefoot, The B-Techs F#ckin' Rock!!!" It's a band from New England with whom he keeps in touch with online. Axl actually took the sign from me in NB and held it up for the crowd to see. And, Bumblefoot invited me backstage after the show. I met Dizzy, Pitman, Frank, and of course, Bumblefoot. It kicked ass!!!!!! Have fun at the show.

Don't worry about the seat # being on a GA ticket. For some reason they still put that on there even though there aren't any seats. Every concert I've ever been to including 2 GNR shows this tour have done that. GA is GA. Be prepared for the show of a lifetime!!!

I had never heard of Die Mannequin or The Trews before. The singer from Die Mannequin reminded me of a young Joan Jett, cute, yet full of anger. They were pretty good! She was a lot of fun to watch. The Trews seemed to be popular in Harbour Station but being from the states, I'd never heard of them. Talented guys, but I found myself yawning. Still a good performance though. The Suicide Girls were, let's just say, a lot of fun to watch. The red-head was killing me, in a good way. If you like skin, this is for you. GNR was fantastic!!! I saw them in Worcester, Mass a few weeks ago and this was as good or better than that performance. I think they did more originals this time which was nice. The crowd was great, Axl was great, and the band was brilliant. Bumblefoot is a GREAT guitarist. He was nice enough to invite me backstage and hang out for a while with himself and some of the band. Get a sharpie and a piece of paper. Write on the piece of paper "Where is Chinese Democracy?" as big as possible so he can see it. GEt like 3 rows off stage and hold that shit up when the lights are on.

Why be pissed off about the new CD? When it comes out, it comes out. I've always been a fan and always will be regardless of how long he takes to release something. I want new music just as badly as everyone else, but, I've learned that you can't anticipate what Axl's going to do. That just makes his legacy that much stronger whether people bitch about it or not.

Well! Free tickets is cool if you have not bough any yet. Not so cool if you did. I bought 5 so I went back today and got another 5. The seats are just a few rows back from my original 5 seats. Too late to see so i just gave them to my friends at work. they will pick up the tab for lunch and some beers before hand so It all works out in the end.

Still. I am not a big fan of giving away seats after people buy tickets for the normal deal.

I was talking to a friend at the venue and they told me that the promoter wanted the seats filled. Maybe to make a huge announcement....maybe to keep Rose from pulling the plug if there are too many empty seats. She told me that seat sales were going fine though, so I don't think it was for the later reason. maybe the cd will be released tomorrow or something.

I'm thinking you may be right. I'd read that Axl's manager? said that there are 10 Tuesdays left in this year and that Chinese Democracy will be released on one of those Tuesdays. So there may be some truth to this rumor. My fingers are crossed.

I just called the box office and they verified that if you have purchased tickets, you will get 2 for 1 when you pick them up. That's f#cking awesome!!!

I saw the "old" GNR in 1993 and it was fantastic. I saw the "new" GNR 2 weeks ago in Worcester, Mass. Let's just say, that this time was so good, I'm going to the Harbour Station show next week to see it again. I am a little biased though, I've been a HUGE fan of Axl since 1986. So, if you like GNR mostly because of Axl, when he comes out and says "DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE F#CK YOU ARE OTTAWA?", believe me, it's going to be a moment you'll never forget. I saw them in Worcester, Mass a couple weeks ago. Best show of my life!!! My friend and I hung out with Papa Roach, got pics and autographs, shook Axl's hand a couple times, got more pics, a couple souvenirs from the show, and the highlight was playing Bumblefoots Les Paul during Paradise City. I saw GNR on the Dust n Bones tour in 1993. Greatest show of my life. I'm traveling about 7 hours to see them this time. Of course I bought tickets before they scheduled the Portland show. Either way, to see Axl again is going to be fantastic.
