1) Do you seriously think uncle AXL would put up with a massive festival feasting on ticket sales by riding of the name.

2) Do RIR really need GNR to promote the festival, no, with bands like metallica i dont see why theyd waste there time confirming something that isnt true.

3) When does Axl ever confirm anything? I believe RIR3 was never officialy announced by GNR.

i have been there alot and most ppl speak spanish, im not saying they dont speak portuguese also? Spanish is the worlds fastest growing language and in portugal tht is no exception.

AXl couldve been late but hed actually been in there all day patraticing. He dint sing along tho, i dont think AXL likes warming up or practicing. THere is some MTV footage which shows this happening during the day.

because the last 3 have been in Rio, but this year they are bringing it to europe, portugal who also speak spanish. Basically i think its somet to do with euro 2004 being the following week so they have the capacity and security ready anyway.

No, they will play RIR then theyll do sum sorta big MTV thing, bring out CD, first stop Leeds festival in August, then wherever round europe. Festivals mainly because of bigger audience.

leeds this year (03) was ace, system were too cool. Metallica were cool too, i was one of those on the pyramid at the front row before the bouncers pulled it apart. Ssuch a cool feeling when everyone went mental during enter sandman at the end. Anyone else there?

they will be taking people through the turnstiles for all events. Also the offices will be rented out. rooms will be used to hold conferences and things. business will sponsor it with billboards and such. Tv companies will pay cash to televise events.

Thats how they make on going revenue.
