Well, my son surprised me with an “autographed” (Axl, Slash) copy of AFD. I have a sense that it is not legit. Mainly, bc the seller has a similar listing, the pictured autographs on the current listing are exactly like the copy I have in my hands. Lines cross at the exact same places on the cross, same pen wisps etc. Like it was printed by a printer, or colour photocopier.
what do you all think?

I’m hearing rumors that this STL show is about to be postponed and an announcement is coming. Axl illness and after last couple shows where he mentioned voice issues from illness I had concerns about this to begin with…anyone else hear anything yet?
I heard the same. Apparently in the process of dismantling the stage etc.

By far the best set list I've personally seen for Guns post-2016 - maybe even ever. I got a little worried about the potential cuts when Axl said they we're going to truck ahead with no encore, and then they busted out Coma. I guess we really only lost Patience and/or Don't Cry, and I ce
They didn’t do the official encore in Pittsburgh either. I’m good with it. It is a silly exercise.

Yeah I bought it outside and it was $65 plus tax. Still a better deal than the rather mediocre shirt selection!
When I bought the lithos, they said the truck with the TO shirts hadn’t arrived, but then someone else mentioned the they had some black ones. Now, this morning I see the colour ines in the merch truck. I just wanted to pay shipping etc.

I bought the lithograph - all $73 of it. And then the guy at the gate tried to tell me "no banners are allowed inside" which was just peachy. In case it wasn't obvious, I am not a fan of the Rogers Centre.
Wait, what? They only charged mt $56.50 for the litho (50 + tax). I better go check my receipt since I did buy three (one tour litho, one show litho to keep and one show lithoto hopefully trade for a Pittsburgh one)

Toronto shirts are on the merch truck site.

Just one other thing, I could have watched Susan dancing all night!

Wow. So tired. Took us over four hours to get home (Normally 2.5 or so). Should have stayed over but couldn’t justify the stupid cost of a hotel.
I was expect A similar setlist as when we saw them last (2 weeks ago in Pittsburgh.
Played 8:07 until 11:15.
We were 10 rows back on the floor. Nice being that close even though we were towards the side.
When we bought lithos, the guy said the show specific shirts were still on a truck driving there. We didn’t get one, I’m not sure if they ever showed up, I checked merch several times and didn’t see any (although someone mentioned that there was a black and white one).
Silly that the preshow merch was inside the Jays shop. It was great when we were there, but then they closed it and used it for the VIP ticket holders at 3:30. So whatever special privileged shopping experience they were given didn’t matter since I was already in there 2.5 hours before them.
I’m looking to trade a Toronto Litho for a Pittsburgh one.
show #12 for me. Quite please.

Pretenders are taking forever....
They finished up just after 7:20
That last song (I didn’t know it) was a mess. They should have stopped when they were ahead.

So glad I got two lithos. They didn’t have any shirts, I will have to look inside.

I need me some 'extra special'... though I've almost given up on getting Locomotive at this point
Maybe a Jimmy Buffet song?

I’ve had varying luck coming out of Rogers Centre and Scotia Arena. I am not holding my breath for it to be a quick escape. I plan on walking a couple blocks and try and Uber from Front/King Street area. There have been instances where cabs will ask where you are heading to, and unless its a 30+ mins drive they will say no. It’s BS, which is why I generally use Uber.
It looks like Budweiser stage has a show (Beck) tomorrow night too, and the CNE is still going on. I guess, i am overly hopeful , but could be extremely wrong too.
I will be aiming for a 1pm arrival. I am staying at a friends place in the city, and figured nothing else to do. If there are any going to the show, but may not be there that early, I’d be more than happy to pick one up for you.
That’s so nice. We’re leaving London around 10, so we’ll probably get there around the same time. Thanks though. I’d like one, actually I’d like to get two so I can trade one for the Pittsburgh one that I didn’t get (even though it’s not a ‘good’ one) I’m not really a collector, but it would be nice.

Is it pretty easy to grab a cab around there after the show or what?
Probabavly not too bad. The locals will proabably use the subway, and many of us that drove have cars, unless staying overnight (we’re driving back home, no need for us to pay for hotel and traffic will be better).

What time do you guys think the merch will open outside?
Anybody’s guess. I’ve seen people mention 2ish, but who knows with these guys. Lol. I’m hoping to grab something, then go check out the Dragon Festival to kill a bunch of time.

Just secured my GA tic for Sunday. Stoked.
You’ll have fun up there. I moved from 127 to the 10th row on the floor behind GA. Just can’t justify the $444 after the last minute decision to hit Pittsburgh.

I honestly hate this cashless venue business. Gone are the cash deals. Now it's tax on the overpriced beer and food and getting prompted for a tip on every last terminal. A tip for what - handing me my t-shirt?
It’s crap. The banks get a chunk of everything. I used to bartend, I’d pour a beer and hand it over. But with that also came a conversation (of varying lengths) and attentiveness. Now they slide a barely cold beer across a sticky counter and want you to hit the preloaded 20% tip. Fuck that.

Still waiting for prices to drop for floor/GA. Going to be my first show since the back to back TO shows in ‘17. Excited for the new songs added to the set list. Just wish it was any venue other than the Rogers Centre/Skydome.
Smart move. I'm not so smart. It's a real piss off when the tix you bought drop a hundred bucks the week of the show. I paid $60 and fees to be on the floor in Pittsburgh two weeks ago. Lesson learned. GNR FOMO is an infection I can't seem to shake lol.

Autograph opinion
in MEMORABILIA TRADING

Thanks. The seller says he has two copies and hasn’t updated the picture because he is away on holidays. The other listing has the same autographed booklet, but in a different jewel case (different plastic scratches etc.). He’s going to send a pic of the other one when he gets back. I can only imagine that maybe they store the signed papers in a file cabinet (for example) and when someone buys it, they put it in whatever case. So maybe the blooklet I have didn’t necessarily originally come in the case I have.
This is a good example as to why I never got into autograph collecting.
