  1. I hate Oasis.

One or two good songs apart I'm not their greatest fan either.

Infact, I don't mind their music intruth, but Noel and Liam are complete thick twats with an awful stereotype of adult chavs from Manchester. JMHO.

    UK SUBS.

yep Noels definitely a thick cunt, he only composed definitely maybe, morning glory, be here now, masterplan, standing on the shoulder of giants, all on his own, musically and lyrically.

Hmm, ok thats a good reply - fair enough, he's got talent.

OK, "......who come across as thick twats with an awful stereotype of adult chavs from Manchester"

    UK SUBS.

but that itself is a stereotype.

  3. "maddergascar" the music scene is hardly awful at the moment, your opinions are awful.

What an asshole, you say you disagree with him, you dont call his opinions awful. Who the fuck do you think you are?

    Christ

    How about you "sweetness" ?

  4. Pet Sounds is one of the most inventive albums ever, an essential landmark album that set standards for any album to come after it.

the reason why you dont know this, is because you are a dumb silly trollop, only into guns n roses because you think axl is hot. I feel sorry for you.

    Trollop :rofl-lol:

Sorry, Im just not into that stuff, and Im not ONLY into Guns N' Roses. Theyre my favorite band but that doesnt mean theyre the only band I listen to. If youre saying that because I said I couldnt find any GNR before I said Oasis fans have no taste, well that makes you a trollop

"sigh" Trollop is a term only applied to women, and that sentence makes no sense whatsoever.

but sweetness is a guy.... meaning you make no sense full stop! OWNED!

    deep inside he's a women.

Here we go again, I wouldnt be talking Atom Heart Mother

The name of a great avant garde album.

You know very little about anything.

"maddergascar" the music scene is hardly awful at the moment, your opinions are awful.

  5. what an awful list, Oasis are a wowful band who I used to love but when I grew up, got some sense, got older I realised how cack they are and how mediocre most of their songs are...and atleast 8 of the top ten are rubbish...Id say every Gun's album bar Spaghetti incident is better than all of those.

you mean as you got older you discovered lyrics such as "turn around bitch I got a use for you"

    never!!

  8. I'll let you in on a secret you silly trollop, most people outside this message board associate Guns N Roses with cheese rock, which is by far the worst genre of music ever. You're also quite dumb to say Oasis fans have no taste, as this forums album list included ALL GUNS' ALBUMS IN THE TOP 10. Whilst ONE Oasis album made it in at number 393.
you thinking ignorance is connected with taste, says it all.

what a silly person you are, stop embarrassing yourself please.

Oh please! The ironic thing is that you're just as guilty yourself of the things you "accuse" the people here of. Just with a different band. So please get help for your music superiority-complex. Please note, I'm just saying anything about the list here. Just about how you act over it.

notice, I edited my post as I realised what I said was a contradiction.

  9. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Go! Team, The Beach Boys

    Im so ignorant

  10. Izzy stradlin has never written a song in the calibre of "a day in the life", "wonderwall" or "live forever". These are songs that transcend into all types of music listeners. Why? because they are great songs FACT. I'd bet my own mother I wont be turning on the radio in 50 years time hearing an Izzy Stradlin song. He may have given Guns N Roses that creative nous or spark if you like, but that's it. He isn't a great songwriter, and neither is Axl. Both are just good.

The result of this pole is shameful and again shows the severe lacking of musically open minded and knowledgeable people on this board. Clueless bellends, there's a certain message board for you; the "guns n roses - discussion and news". Please refrain from your mindless, endless guns worship on here. All in vain, I know.

Nothing Noel Gallagher's ever written can come close to what Axl and Izzy wrote for Guns n Roses, Wonderwall and Live Forever aren't good songs and they bore me to tears, A Day In The Life is a good song, But you saying Axl and Izzy are just "good" upsides Noel Gallagher is bollocks, Oasis are a hyped up average band that became big because of the 90s britpop era being filled with poor music, Why d'you think they never cracked America properly eh?, most americans take the piss out of Oasis from what i've seen and don't start telling me about where Be Here Now got in america as i don't care, they tried to break america and they couldn't, All great bands do...

Most people on here have a much better taste in music than you do, I can see from what you post in topics that Noel Gallagher tells you what to listen to as you seem to like all the bands he speaks well of, I have a mate who's a big Oasis fan and he comes out with the same old shit as you...

I mean you stating that people like N Gallagher and Richard Ashcroft are miles ahead of Jagger & Richards and Steve Tyler in songwriting ability is truely laughable, You should stick to Oasis and Verve message boards as most people on there will agree with ya.

Steven Tyler is one of the worst songwriters in the history of music and his band are one of the worst bands of all time, a true embarrassment to any genre of music. I could use 20 or more Oasis songs as pure examples of songwriting superiority and more people would agree than disagree. You're an Idiot if you think Jagger and Richards are individually greater songwriters than Noel Gallagher or Richard Ashcroft. This poll isnt about songwriting Duo's, bellend. By the way west ham are still shit.

George Harrison got it right when it comes to Oasis...

In a new interview in the Paris magazine, Le Figaro, Harrison rips into the Beatlesque bad boys of Oasis by saying - Oasis, deigns the Taxman, is just "not very interesting."

    -------

The reason i stated Jagger & Riffhard instead of just one of them is because no matter how little contribution either had on the writing of a Stones song the track always went down as Jagger & Richards/Richard...

Last but not least, I know you support Liverpool and when i was at Anfield just over a week ago your true supporters clapped West Ham off of the field and that was most of them, Just like they did when i was at the cup final in may, West Ham were the better team in the cup final and every football fan knows that, so you saying we're shit is just jealousy which is all down to us signing Tevez and Mascherano.

Obviously because Liam called him a nipple.

West ham have got a great attacking spirit and their fans are superb, Liverpool fans will always applaud that. You signing Tevez and Mascherano has to be the dodgiest deal of all time, you're still nowhere near our quality though.

  11. That list couldnt be any more of a pain in the ass to read, fuck that.

Appetite For Destruction got 84 or something, couldnt find any other GNR, but I'd say that list is pretty crappy, Oasis fans have no taste.

Exactly, Someone with a bit of sense!, well said ^_^

Agreed, a great sense of ignorance!

What an utterly shit list.

yeah, there should only be 1 guns n roses album on the list. not 3.

  15. how the hell is Gazza a football legend? did he win a World Cup? or a Euro Championship? Did he win a treble? a Chapions League? or score the greatest goal in history?

He was a great player, but legend? come on...

to be fair mate, hes one of the greatest players to ever grace the pitch, and could have been the best.

    you're right though he isn't a legend.

  16. :rofl-lol: hopefully some cracking pictures will emerge soon.

Fallen football hero Paul Gascoigne has had a boozy bust-up with rock star Liam Gallagher.

And the aggro ended with the Oasis frontman letting off a fire extinguisher in Gazza's face.

The ex-England midfielder had been partying in London's exclusive Groucho club on Friday night after an interview.

Witnesses claim he and Liam came to blows following a argument.

And bouncers had to step in when Gazza, who last week admitted he had "fallen off the wagon" , ended up getting a hosing down.

A Groucho Club source said: "Tempers flared and there was a couple of punches thrown. Liam then decided to cool Gazza off with the extinguisher.

"It ended up being quite funny"

Hours after the early evening bust-up riled Geordie Gazza, 39, got into another scrape when he allegedly punched a photographer for taking a snap of him snogging Big Brother housemate Lisa Jeynes.

Our Groucho insider added: "Gazza was at the club for an interview and Liam rocked up at the same time.

"They've met each other in the past so Liam bowled over to Gazza and said hello and was chatting with him. but as the evening progressed they got they got into an argument, tempers flared then a fight started.

"Liam even grabbed hold of a fire extinguisher at one point and let off the spray in the club.

"It was chaotic untill doormen intervened and pulled them apart. Gazza didn't look to happy.

"But I wouldn't have liked to have seen him go toe to toe with Liam - he can handle himself"."

  17. Country has never dominated the way Rap has though.

atom heart mother, it's one thing to disagree and argue reasonably, but all your capable of is immature jabs at me. I think I have a point here and you have none. You can shut it if your just going to call me an idiot without offering something worthwhile.

And besides, even if I had no point, do you have to be so rude?

it's the only way to counteract your stubberness.

there is little point to this thread.

Well it doesn't work for me, because when you insult me I just stop listening. In fact, that's total bullshit. Just stop being so rude.

ill try to be more articulate, because you are my friend ODS! I dont want you to be upset.

    user1: 1+1=2

    user2: Yeah and?

    user1: 1+1=2

    user2: Your point?

    user1: That is my point.

  19. You are all missing the point. The fact that Rap has appealed to white audiences the way it has is why it has achieved something Country could not do. Like someone else said "show me a black dude squaredancing", yes that's exactly my point. Rap has escaped it's "intended demographic" in a way Country never has.

Try actually reading my posts before you call me an idiot, idiots.

what the hell are you on about? rap music is the way it is because black people lived under oppression. It's rebellious qualities are bound to to be popular with young music buyers. Country Music has never appealed to the young generation for obvious reasons.

why is it white people are so late on everything, i mean rock n roll, jazz and rap.

by the way im white, i am insulting myself

Do you atleast get my point Katie? I can't believe all these fools missed it.

you dont make any "point" you blithering lunatic.
