For some reason, I don't think it is completely impossible to imagine Axl doing something like that.

It was good to get some insight into Axl's mind. What I understood from it is that basically after Use Your Illusions, Axl's life mission was complete. So, if Axl still feels this way, Chinese Democracy may never be released: in Axl's mind, there's no need for it to be released.

I definitely think this is when Axl will make the announcement on the Chinese Democracy CD. For some of the reasons you already posted: because it's a giant venue and because it is so close to the time that Chinese Democracy is supposed to drop (ie before the end of this year). Plus, New York is a World city. Some consider it to be THE World city. So, this would be the perfect place to let the World know about the Chinese Democracy album.

OK this is fucked up but I had actually had a dream last about asking a record store employee at HMV when Chinese Democracy would come out. She said: DECEMBER 4th!!!! December 5th is a Tuesday. Anyways I really did have this dream.

Most of you aren't ready for what I'm about to tell you. I don't take any responsibility for what may happen once you find out Axl's secret.

Sometimes people speak of Axl as having a split personality, or a manic depressive personality. From the outside, this seems perfectly plausible. However, the cause of Axl's split personality isn't his brain.

The reason that Axl seems to have a split personality is because Axl actually has an identical twin brother. Don't bother looking for birth certificates or records of Axl's brother's birth, because you won't find any. The Rose family had these documents destroyed years ago. Authorities were paid off to make sure that the truth would never come out.

The only people who know the truth are the still-living Axl, and his family.

One Axl brother loved Slash and the original band. However, sometime during the Use Your Illusion recording sessions, that Axl DIED. Ever wonder why Axl's voice sounded different on Use Your Illusions? Now you know.

The only suriving Axl, took his place, but never got along with the band. In fact he downright hated them. So soon after the Axl twin took over as the permanent Axl, the band fell apart.

The final Axl fell into a depression and withdrew from society. However, he wanted to carry on his twin brother's legacy. He began getting plastic surgery so that he would like more like the other Axl.

Finally, he announced Chinese Democracy. Final-Axl has told me himself that the truth will be revealed in the liner notes of the Chinese Democracy album.

CD manufacturing facilities may be secure in the U.S.A., but what about in other countries? We need people with connections in other countries to find out about Chinese Democracy being pressed in those places.

Maybe it's like a true democracy. Axl is the president and we are the people who elected him. He does what the majority thinks he should do.

A friend of mine in Edmonton told me HMV had a sign in the store saying Nov 14 was the date. I have no idea if that's true, and he hasn't been able to get me a picture, but he said people in the store said it would be "in store" on the 14th.

Take it for what it's worth, I have no idea if that's true or not.

anyway it was on our intranet as being november 14th and on our upcoming new release bulletin for that day but i knew something was off when it came time to order new releases for that day and chinese democracy wasnt on the list

maybe universal is trying to keep a gagg on everything but now according to our new release sheet its been pushed back to dec 19th

OK listen dudes! I remember someone on this board said something about CHINESE DEMOCRACY first being released in digital format on services like ITUNES.

SO! Even if the physical CD doesn't arrive in stores until DEC. 19 (which totally sucks, but hey, only 1 more month) it will still be available possibly in November on ITUNES and other services.
