Am I the only one who wasn't impressed at all by the added two notes in the keyboard intro?the added Pittman only make a difference in the very beginning of the songs.I personally find the other stuff he plays throughout the song distracting and annoying

In my opinion Bumblefoot's actual playing is more interesting to listen to but BOTH Buckethead and Bumblefoot don't grab me nearly the same as Joe Satriani or John Petrucci's music.Bumblefoot is a cleaner player than Buckethead and is more versatile in his improvisation.

People who turn away and say "the album hasn't dropped yet.. Well I am not a fan anymore" wasnt ever a fan to begin with. So your point about him losing fans is moot.

Not to say that there is no validity in being dissapointed, just keep in mind that WE set our selves up for dissapointment with our constant rumours and bullshit - NOT AXL. Axl said 2006, and it's not over yet. So let's just keep holding our breath and see what happens.

That's not true at all.They WERE in fact fans,probably bigger than the one guy who posted this.There is no getting around disappointment that EVERYONE deep down feels.Any reasonable human being would if they have been told something over and over that was going to happen.It never did.We DONT set ourselves up for disappointment.Axl/The powers that be do.Plain and simple.Bottom line my friend."So your point about him losing fans is moot." First off the word genius is thrown around WAY TOO MUCH.Merck is NOT one,neither is AXL.Save the word for people that really are.THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS ALBUM HITS THE STORES THIS YEAR.I dont give a fuck about what Asshole-Rose has said on Tv.If we take all the quotes of the past years about the album coming up,we'd have enough to put in a bag to shove up his fucking ass!!! They would have to pump all their resources into this one album JUST to recoup their losses,let alone make a profit.This is not the 80s anymore.NO ONE sells 10 million of an album anymore.The zero promotion idea is a waste of breath,as human beings all know that we buy shit that we hear about or see...and are bombarded by it day after day.This album is the polar opposite.I am willing to put up $100 that says that the album doesn't come out this Tuesday or even within the year

Have to agree with most people on here that it's a terrible idea.Two singers in the band would be ridiculous.I can only take Axl's voice for so long before I have to listen to another band.Now if you add another screamer to the mix,it turns into mush and stops being music.

ALL TIME musical greats? Are you kidding me?The guy can't release an album of original material in 15 or so years.Do you notice how much has changed since then as far as music goes? Most people are suprised to hear that GNR are still around,let alone if they honestly have left a huge impact in the last 25 years.Appetite was 87.The illusions were a mixed bag which really recorded in 90 but released in 91. Axl is no Mozart,Bach,Beethoven or whoever.As far as the hard rock scene goes he is a formidable prescence only because we expect GREAT and nothing but great things from Chinese Democracy.

According to Hits Daily Double, it now appears that manager Merck Mercuriadis won't be joining Irving Azoff's Front Line after all, at least not for the time being. Mercuriadis is currently traveling with client GUNS N' ROSES on their arena tour, while MORRISSEY is set to begin a large-scale jaunt in Europe, where he is a hot concert attraction. Insiders claim Mercuriadis still has some ongoing issues to resolve regarding his exit from Sanctuary Music which means it doesn't look like there will be a deal between him and Azoff in the near future.

If CD isn't released this year this will most likely be the excuse.

I agree with the ones bad mouthing Merck.He's a vague asshole.
