C0ma is the guy who I got to confirm those first SKUs we had (and I thank him profusely) - he just hasn't had a chance to pick up the printouts yet.
However, it doesn't matter at this point - look at this new screenshot from Fresno, CA -
Obviously BB has it in their systems (what some of us were trying to tell you 3+ days ago) and obviously SOMETHING is happening. The big question now is just what's the difference between the three versions

thanks for confirming the skus for me. I just got home today from san diego my wife went into surgery on tuesday and then had complications and had to back into surgery. She was in icu tuesday night. then tranferred to a room on wednesday. Everything is fine now shes getting released on monday.I just came home to get my kids set up for the weekend. I went on here to see if there is any new news and everything is listed on the normal best buy site looks like christmas comes early this year. I heading back to san diego tommorow to spend the rest of the weekend with my wife until she released.All i can say is cherish your loved ones because i have never been so scared in my life.

So when are they going to announce it? It would logical although possibly stupidly optimistic to expect it to be tomorrow (Monday)? The movie is out with If the World in the credits and well the media are mass producing the news about the best buy tie up. Surely to god they've got to confirm or deny this during the week one would think?
Im thinking there will be commercial during the world series. Followed by going up for pre order on the normal best buy site. and then the update on the gnr website.

I am still expecting printscreens from the RSS - they've just been delayed a bit as my friend has gotten caught up in something. Hopefully I will hear from him tomorrow. However, for everyone doubting this - like I said before - just call one or go ask, yourself - it takes all of a five minute phone call - not too complicated.

I'd be willing to bet that an employee would be willing to at least look up a product in the RSS system to at least see if it's on order. Anyone could do that, I think.
Whether or not the employees would let you get a printscreen or take a picture is another story.
But, just to be clear, from what I saw there were no descriptions accompanying the listings. So, whether or not the content is different in the different listings, and what the content is should it be different, is unknown.

when i was shown the info. i asked if i can get a copy of the page or a photo with my cell phone and the media mgr. told me i couldnt because it was internal information only. ali would of had the best chance for a photo of the screen with a cell phone since no one was around.

Would any of you kind souls care to give me a summary of this thread, i've been glancing at some points and don't know whether or not to fall victim to excitement or to ask more questions.
Well, one day and half ago a lot of web sites reported there is a final release date for CD the 23th november. Only GNR confirmation left. Til then, darknemus found that the bestbuy internal products system contains three different CD items ... then there are people phoning to best buy to check it out. some of them confirmed it, others don´t ... and also all the rumours about what exactly contain the three discs of chinese democracy... different cover arts same product ... CD,DVD and documentary?, same CD with different bonus tracks ...
All this is going on ... useful or useless?
darknemus didnt find it i did. He confirmed the 3 sku#s for the 3 cds i posted I didnt remember the sku#s for the 3 lps. He confirmed the sku#s for the 3 cds later that day. silent assassin posted the sku#s for the 3 lps last night.

It wasnt there this morning when i checked either. It shows it was modified this morning around 8:00 a.m. I highly doubt it will be officially updated on a weekend. If you get the other upcs type those in the database before posting them to see if it was official updated. If it was official all upcs will be in the database not just the one posted already.

No reason? Although I've just started posting, there seems to be some legitimacy to several others' claims. First of all, I doubted Sillentassasin for some SKU #'s of vinyl. Then, darknemus defends saying "let's not fight about stupid shit". Then he claims I'm a smart GnR fan. Then other users chime in on some bullshit he's pulled in the past. What The Fuck. Seriously. I had no problem with darknemus at first. Why would he send me a private message to make himself seem more legit to a newbie like myself, is he Sillentassassin on another pc?? I'm smelling bullshit now. I wanna believe all the positive stuff, but credibility is losing track very quickly. Can SEVERAL others confirm this supposed info on SKU's/etc? If not, please don't take stock in this and fall victim to a scam, that's my only reason for posting. Be wary and shit. People like to jump on the wagon very quickly from what I've read. Let's be sure, that's all.
And darknemus if I'm wrong, I'll disappear. Why? Because I'll be happy that CD has been released. It's just funny how all of a sudden I bring a tiny detail up of another user, it seems you defend him, and when the cards are stacked against, you become even MORE defensive. Im the one who posted the sku #s for the cds. The only reason i saw them is because i have been asking the media mgr everytime i go to Best buy for the last year or so. Today he said he found something in the rss system that he wanted to show me when i was in there today. He showed me 3 different cds for chinese democracy with sku #s and upcs with a $13.99 price point and 3 different sku #s and upcs for LPs priced at $ 19.99 each I posted the 3 skus i remembered which were the first 3 listed were all cds i didnt remember the other skus for lps because each sku has 3 different last #S. i asked if icould write down the skus or upcs or take a picture of the screen with my cell phone and he said i couldnt be cause it is internal information and had his login name on it. Darknemus confirmed the skus for the cds later in the day. and the silentassassin posted the skus for the 3 lps and a upc which there was no way i would of remembered when i got to my truck to write down. As of right now they are only listed in the rss system. Not the online or standard in store search. But there was later october date on the screen but not where the release date of nov. 25th was listed maybe it was the date when it we be listed on the normal site. i dont know but it was in the 20s. Thats the best i could find out.So when it is listed on Best buy check the skus and you will no im not lying about what i saw.

Having the UPCs helps a LOT as that's' what we'll use to pull detailed info as soon as its in a retailers database (like I said, I'd expect that to happen pretty soon).
Best Buy's SKUs are great for Best Buy research.. the UPCs open up the research to, well, every damn retailer who'd carry the disc(s).

Go into a store ask someone in media to check the rss system for one of the sku #s listed say you want to see how many are on order to determine if you should get there early on release day to make sure you get a copy.The upcs do exist. they exist on a internal system for best buy called the rss. You will not find them on the website or if an employee does a stock check on the normal system. I was only able to remember three of the sku #s which are seven digits each.I was not allowed to write down or take a picture of the screen. The screen shows employee login information. But i saw upcs and sku #s for all six versions 3 compact discs and 3 lps.

So i went to my truck and wrote the cd sku#s down before forgot them.
But I forgot the lp sku #s
I guess i was "too late" with the three edition news but i can at least give something back ...

why not? AC/DC has three different covers coming out.
Could someone in the US call a Best Buy and ask if all of that AC/DC albums have their own sku#?
If the answer would be negative, that could really mean CD Vol. 1 - Vol. 3.
That won't really work. The AC/DC album is a WalMart exclusive. Not Best Buy.

So far they are only listed in the rss system and not in the normal system online or in the store.
so if you go to a store or call a store have them look in the rss system.
