Who knows - it could just be one or two songs promised to him. I just don't think he could truly keep quiet this long without blowing up in the media if he wasn't involved. That said, I also agree that people might only end up disappointed if they go in expecting both Izzy and Steven to be there and then neither end up being a part of the tour at all. For now it's best to be cautiously optimistic as they say.

In any event, I still say the CSI is a lot of fun.

What I don't get about all of this is why is Matt so quiet ... If he's not involved at all like most of us think he isn't .. Why would he stay so quiet, he has no gnr management watching over him, he has no reason to not just come out and say, "not involved this time around, should be fun for the fans" ... Smdh ...

You have to really go out of your way to make sticks look like that. One set is going one way, another set joins for an arch. Then you have one rogue stick across. It forms a 3D "A." It's too specific to be coincidence.

Ok Marc so as our resident insider in chief, what's your thoughts on the following lately ...

3. Secrecy in general from all parties involved or not involved ... (Everybody assumes sorum isn't involved at all, and if he isn't why is he not saying anything)

Looking like Izzy and Adler are not in the picture. It's gonna be Axl, Slash, Duff, and then additional hired hands Dizzy, Ferrer, Fortus, and Pitman.

based on all the lineup speculation, it seems like for slash and duff not to fight tooth and nail to have Matt and Adler involved is a really shitty thing to do ...

The reunion everybody has always wanted and slash/duff are going to agree to having themselves and Richard/frank ... What a slap in the face to Matt and Steven .....

Now all of this is purely based on the lineup speculation .. For all I know slash duff have fought tooth and nail for Matt and Steve ...

This billboard story is going to push the reunion announcement up to this week I'm guessing ...

Here's my problem with this ... they posted the old logo on the website ... everybody is taking that as a sign of the original 5 reuniting ... if this is a slash/duff coming back only .. they are really misleading everybody ...

That is a good question. He was very upset with me for promoting the old band when he thought Slash was a bad guy. Now he doesn't seem to have a problem with Slash anymore but there is the fact that I did promote my book which has many photos of Slash in it at the time Axl didn't want me doing that so he may see it as I still did something that he didn't want me to do.

Its kind of like getting busted for pot years ago n a state where it is now legal. If someone was put in jail when it was not legal and now that it is legal, do they let them oiut of jail?

The way I see it, a friend is a friend for life but sometimes disagree on something and one stops talking to the other. In the end they still care about each other and maybe one day they will both realize that they miss each other and life is just too short and start talking again. If Axl can mend fences with Slash when he once thought that Slash and him would never be on talking terms again then Im preaty sure the issue he had with me for promoting Slash can't really be a big issue anymore. I think about him all the time and used to worry about what is going on in his life but the truth is I know that he is doing well because I think the fact that he is no longer holding a grudge on Slash, he will be able to move on with his life and get so much more done. I hope someday we will talk again and work out the mess that became of out friendship.

I think it's the super bowl. I don't think it's been officially announced yet, but in years past we have known way ahead of time who is playing. This year has seen rumors and offers to Bruno and Maroon 5...I feel like those are just cover ups though. The super bowl is always one of those gigs everyone thinks GNR will play when they reunite. I know it's a long shot but if they reunite anything is possible.

I think Bruno Mars has actually been offered the gig ... Never in a million years would the nfl let GNR anywhere near the halftime show, due to axls history of tardiness, and the possibility of anything happening which the NFL can't control ...

This dish nation story is gaining major traction, with tons of major music outlets and websites, reporting it ... While in no way does the likes of ultimate guitar, every radio station website re reporting this story make it legit .. The fact that the GNR camp doesn't and hasn't refuted these this report makes it a certainty this is happening ... I would say the actual mystery to all of this is who's gonna play drums ...

I'm calling it now: Adler (with Matt following them around for some UYI tunes and rehearsing the rest on "standby mode" in case Steven flakes again)

Steven claimed he still didn't know anything after talking to Slash in his last interview...but the way he was saying it and his demeanor felt kinda different this time, and Duff complimented him recently and corrected himself to make sure it was in present tense (idk that just means something to me).

And I just think it wouldn't be fair to call it an AFD reunion like Trunk claims it'll be marketed as without giving Adler at least a chance now that he's (apparently) sober. Also, he'd practically destroy himself if he doesn't at least get a chance and I'm sure the other 4 are well aware of this.

So yeah, Adler with Matt on UYI/standby. That's my gut feeling

So let's say a reunion happens (btw this has to be a interesting time for you with all this reunion talk, knowing your history with the band) do you think axl would almost have to be open to repairing your friendship, knowing you and slashs continued friendship ..

Since I'm having beers and im on a roll ... My bet is the reunion announcement is a simple group shot, with 2016 being the only text ..

A gnr reunion will do huge business but i don't think they'll be able to do stadiums in the US .. Maybe 2 nights in certain markets no better ...

"No news in good news" .... Pretty much what I was thinking since all this talk started .... The fact that nobody in the camp, especially all, has denied this talk is pretty much all the confirmation I need ... I'll see myself out ...

Any news will be have to be coming rather quickly because I'm guessing more than likely gnr will headline a festival next spring/summer and said festival will need to start advertising within the next couple of months ...
