What new versions? They're new musicians playing the same parts. There's nothing new about it.

And to boot. Say for instance Mr. Rose hasn't been on the internet for sometime and then decides to check out some of the 'fan' sites to see who's saying what. You'd think that a fan would be saying things in a letter to Axl Rose like I know you've gotten alot of bad heat from the press and fans turning their backs on you. I just want you to know that you've got people who still support what you're doing in any way, shape or form. And so on and so forth in a respectible, unconditional manner. But instead you post, of all the things you could say to the man, that you'd like to see him remake one of his older songs because these guys play it better. Instead of i'm looking forward to what you've been working on. Talk about missing the mark. Did i say you give opinions a bad rep? I know it seems heartless of me considering everyone has a right to their opinion but some people just don't know how to utilize theirs. But it's not their faults some people are just less educated than others. But such is life.

How can you say that new musicians in a band playing older musicians parts play them better than the originals? You must be high. Actually no, when you're high you get a sense of insight, or at least I.......oh nevermind that. You give opinions a bad reputation.

Or maybe, just maybe they're showing their support for guns in an offhand way. call me crazy. but if they were to like go on oprah winfrey and say horray guns n' roses buy their album when it comes out all the little goth kids who hold the band so precious would be all offended and boycott the band for selling out. or they could put the sign in the back of a picture and do it like that. see who notices. subliminal messaging. rockers don't drop names like rappers do. i think it's a little more taste oriented. but that's just my delusional point of view. you can now return to your regular scheduled progra.......................

music comes first, or rather used to come first. But now for alot of people these days they find someone who looks cool and then gets into their music whether(sp?) or not it's any good. Whereas you can have someone who has the most phenominal music out there and look unpleasing to the eyes and will get the shaft. And we can 'thank' the shallowness of society for that. 'video killed the radio star'

Personally i'm a big slash fan so it'd be great to see him doing his thing along side mr. rose but at the end of the day i don't care as much about who's playing the songs as much as i care about the music moving me and the person playing it having the intensity and passion to deliver it. That's what you all should really care about, not how the person looks or what 'gimmick' they have. None of that matters. That's not what rock & roll is about. Any true hearted person whould feel the same. You can quote me on this reply because it's real.

for rock fans some of you are pretty critical over a rock band.

People really have to stop acting like guns n' roses or solely axl rose own them something. it's called rock & roll. and for any true rock fans you know or should at least know that rock has no rules. and as roger daltrey states 'when rock is put up under a microscope it just doesn't stand up' because rock is all about doing what you want, when you want, how you want. and so if you truly consider yourself a fan of rock & roll and of the band guns n' roses you need to know your roll and just let it be.
