  1. In terms of videos.. The difference is that Eddie Vedder sounds amazing in videos and does not require as much editing as GnR needs. Axl sounds pretty awful in the majority of the videos I've seen since 2002. They sound great when you are in the pit though!

The ticket issue is pathetic. But look, this tour is basically live nation's biggest priority for the past year. I can tell you Live Nation has invested more marketing dollars into this show than practically any other world tour. They are looking for their ROI and don't honestly give a shit about the hardcore fans that want PIT or really good floor tickets at fair value. They start off tickets at "platinum prices", PIT was starting out at $1000 dollars for this most recent additions and that wasn't even resale tickets. These platinum tickets have already dropped in price to 575 & will probably continue to drop until they find a price level fans are OK with.

It sucks but come on, this tour is such a money grab. The fan club is a $45 t-shirt.

  2. After Troubadour, Vegas and Coachella I was kind of burnt out. With Axl on the chair during Vegas/Coachella I was slightly disappointed as it just lacked energy, but the stadium tour has wiped that memory away for me. I've seen them seven times since 4/1 and I'm surprisingly not tired of them yet. I sold my SD tickets thinking I'd be done at this point, but now I kinda wanna go one more time.

  3. I can't honestly rank anything on CD or TSI higher than any UYI or AFD song besides maybe My World. I think its mainly due to the fact that those songs were heavily imprinted in my brain when i was young . As much as Get in the ring and Shotgun Blues gets made fun of, I listened the shit out of those songs when i was 11.

    Jungle

    Night Train

    Rocket Queen

    November Rain
    Estranged

    Don't Cry

    Coma

    Double Talkin Jive

    Get In The Ring

    Brownstone

    Civil war

    Patience

    Don't Damn Me

    Breakdown

    My Michelle

  4. The advertising budget for this tour is probably higher than any other major tour this year. Tours don't actually get a lot of marketing budget, its a lot of word-of-mouth. In terms of promoting, do you just mean interviews? If Axl and company suddenly did a bunch of interviews, do we really think that would make an impact on sales? That would just appease the people who were already going.

  5. I went to troubadour, both vegas shows and coachella. I felt burnout after vegas mostly from the fact that coachella cost so much damn money to stay at for 3 days & was a horrible venue to watch them. I got pit tixs to 3 dates this summer and still pretty pumped about everything.
