  1. I said it this morning and I'll say it again: more than half the people in the concert couldn't hear Axl... AT ALL!!! I think I heard Axl only four times. We all went to see him, and listen to him sing, and we left empty-handed! Therefore, I have the right to say the show sucked big time.

Why I said Axl is an asshole? For not attending to the sound check, for having such an idiot as the sound engineer, for not talking to the audience (well, he talked, but only to threaten us). In 1992 and 1993 he was much cooler despite all the problems with the audience. Baz should give him a lesson about being nice to the audience. I don't like Baz as a musician but he was a very cool guy on stage, he seemed really happy.

It is sad but I think this is the last time Axl sells out a show in Argentina. Many people left dissapointed.

  2. It was a very shitty show. I couldn't hear a complete sentence sang by Axl because it would get buried under all the guitars. In the crowd (the "popular part of the stadium it's on the field) we were pretty mad singing "no se escucha, no se escucha!" (sth like "we can't hear, we can't hear) but nothing happenned. Then the crowd started throwing things because we were pretty pissed. At the end of the show I moved back and the sound was a bit better.

Baz was great, a pretty energetic and happy guy, but Axl was an asshole the whole night. Nobody gave a fuck about the other guys except for maybe Dizzy.

  3. Axl isn't trying to tarnish the legacy. He is just finally telling his side of the story. Is version is that he wanted to keep the band together, but Slash tried to force him to make an album without Axl having any input.
This is What Axl said about MY WORLD (blames it on Slash) on HTGTH:

Q: - What the hell was My World? lol (I've always been curious)

A: Great question and here goes for all your inquisitive minds with a bit you aren’t aware of but is the real story…

Unfinished 1st run 1st dabbling/experimenting all in fun demo that became Duff’s favorite song at the time telling me how he loved to blast it at his house with Ice T and the Bodycount guys before Illusions came out and before it was decided to be on the record. I wanted to try and develop it and wanted guitars of some kind but Slash felt and his words at the Record Plant in all seriousness were “It’s perfect” and Slash and Duff were the deciding factor to have it on the album. eek

Personally I feel Duff legitimately liked it but I can’t say Slash did in the same way. In fact I feel he was keenly aware some would take issue with the track and against me so for him in that sense it was “perfect”. Imo Duff wasn’t aware or part of that and was “used” unwittingly for support in talking me out of developing it or not including it which at the time I had no real intention of using as is.

Are we supposed to actually believe this? He makes it sound like Slash had some mastermind plan to make him look like shit.

that anecdote is very funny/stupid. I just cant picture that situation taking into consideration Axls personality. It would be like:

Slash: Axl, that song is perfect man!

Axl: uhm, ok, if you say so... lets put it in the record then!

    It just doesnt make sense!

  4. Hey Axl, you rock man, but stop lying to us. The facts say that you took over the band from the very begining and all the decisions were up to you, so please stop lying man... There's no indication whatsoever in any form that Slash wanted to take over. How about this well known facts:

    1. SCOM, Slash didnt like that song but it was still in AFD... your decision right? (that was a good decision though :tongue2: )

    2. November rain and Estranged videos, with the dolphins and Slash playing in the water, etc... I'm pretty sure that's what you wanted, not Slash.

    3. Sympathy for the devil. Slash didnt want Tobias playing, but you did, and apparently Tobias ended up playing... so, that was Slash's decision, right?

    4. "Slash, thanks for the killer guitars" in the illusions. That clarly looks like in the illusions you were the boss and Slash played what you told him to.

    5. Slash didnt end up with the name, you did. I dont buy the whole "the manager wanted the rest of the guys to fire me so I made sure I got the name so that would never happen". It just doesnt make sense man. I'm sorry. You should come up with a better thing. (For the record, Slash's version doesnt make much sense either).

There are tons of other facts that make your story not beleivable.

So, to sum up, quit fucking around and get back with Slash... all those guys you hired playing a million notes per second with their stupid names really suck man!!! NO MORE SHREDDERS PLEASE! GNR IS SUPPOSED TO BE SLOPPY!!!
