  1. B) cool, how do I listen to this? :drevil: and what time is it oging to air

On the "Home" page there is a place for your zip code that will see if it is available in your area. Apparently Los Angeles is not in the area. :anger:

  2. The third fucking post in this thread has the picture.

Next time, try opening yours eyes when you look for something.

Really? What the fuck is going on with my computer!!!! I don't see shit!

    Same :(

Try emptying your Temp Internet files and cookies. Sorry for the off topic post, but that is probably the only reason the pages don't work for them... They worked for me...

  3. And what did that press release say?

    http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?showtopic=33497

I just read that interview, press release, whatever it is and I think what Axl said in it needs to be heard again:

Regarding the work in progress Axl commented as follows:

“I gave into a lot of pressure on Illusions both internally in Guns and externally in the press, those albums suffered as a consequence, it's not something I'm too excited to have to live with again. There are a lot of new songs that were just done in the last year that we feel that ‘okay, well that bumps a lot of stuff off the previous list but it's time to stop that now and wrap up the baby. It feels right, the timing, and a lot of things. We’ve sorted it down to what songs are on the record. What the sequence of the songs is. The album cover art is ready. Blah, blah, blah. If you're waiting...don't. Live your life. That's your responsibility not mine. If it were not to happen you won't have missed a thing. If in fact it does you might get something that works for you, in the end you could win on this either way. But if you're really into waiting try holding your breath for Jesus cause I hear the payoff may be that much greater."

Remember that was back in 2001? Right? 2001-2002 tour.

  4. Friend just called me from an airport in Cleveland, him and I have a bet on if Chinese Democracy will come out before May 1st or not. Apparently he has the new Spin magazine and Chuck Klosterman reviewed the album. He specifically mentioned song titles that were not ones that were played live or leaked, one song was entitled "Sunday Morning Strip Bar" or something like that and another was "Cowboy Song". It also mentioned Rhiad, CITR and Silkworms. There were specific references to the liner notes which credited Zakk Wylde as a guitarist on a few songs. Sorry I cant post a link Im stuck at work but if anyone has seen the new Spin or lives near a place that sells magazines go get it. If Im wrong I apologize.

Of course... things in Cleveland are always a little ahead of the rest of the world. Sounds like BS to me, and I'm not buying Wylde on any of CD

Why would you doubt Wylde on CD? I remember hearing that ages ago.

  5. well thats interesting, anyone have a link??

All they have on Guns n' Roses on their website is an article that came out in their March issue, about the March 6th statement from Axl regarding Slash. SpinMagazine.com

They may not have it on their website yet, ;) but I will recheck it tomorrow. Who knows? ;)

  6. I thought we had an official statement when Axl said

You will hear the music this year.

But where must we be to hear that music? Probably, at one of their shows, they are busy scheduling. Not that I have "real" doubts, but I just don't have a lot of hope at this point. I have been a fan since '88 and mostly a lurker here for a long time, till I finally signed up, after all these leaks came about. It's inevitable that we will probably hear more songs, but they may be in the form of bootlegs, from some of their concerts. I really hope I am wrong and the album will come out this spring or summer. I will probably buy a copy in each format which I always do (I collect record albums - I managed to get the original album artwork on AFD - among other things).

    Here's hoping... rock1

  7. Nirvana did not "kill" Guns N' Roses. After Nirvana released Nevermind, only albums GN'R released were YUI albums, which were insanely succesful. Unless you count SPI? as a real GN'R album, which you'd be stupid to, you have absolutely no idea how Nirvana would have affected GN'R sales.

And considering how well AFD has been selling over the years, it's pretty save to say Nirvana did NOT kill GN'R.

Could not have put it better myself.

  8. Maybe yes, maybe no. I'd like to think yes, just like I'd like to think that the special that KLOS 95.5 is giving tickets to a surprise at 10:00 a.m. at the House of Blues in Hollywood is a record release party, but I won't know until tomorrow... That'd be nice...
