  1. I was at the show.  I remember talking about Axl's rant after the show, feeling like it was more of a threat than anything he would ever follow through with.   It made me perceive Axl as the only clean one in the band, outside of coke possibly, but not mr. brownstone.

As a young closet stoner, I bought the other T-shirt because I wasn't comfortable wearing something that said "Stoned" at that time.

  2. I was in the same boat after seeing them in 2012.  I actually didn't even enjoy that show or the shows they released for TV and I thought it was over for me.  I was lucky enough to get some excitement with Slash and Duff and have been impressed with Axl coming back from the dead vocally.  After watching videos/scoping Axl fronting ACDC and seeing GnR in LA a couple weeks ago, I am optimistic about the future.  I might not pay to see them if nothing changes in the next couple of years, but I am in a much better place than I was last year at this time as a fan.

I actually sympathize and feel for you as a fan.

  3. I want GnR to play songs like Locomotive, Breakdown, Don't Damn Me, Dead Horse, Bad Obsession, Pretty Tide Up that would satisfy my personal set list preference.  I personally don't like Anything Goes, Back Off Bitch, Cornshucker, My World, but I wouldn't complain if the band played it or bag on others that liked it.

We are getting 6+ songs more than the average set lists during the UYI tour.  If we were told back in the day that we would get 4 additional Axl songs, another cover and Coma as a staple, I cannot possibly see any complaints.  Seems like people are focusing about the cherry on top, rather than the fucking sundae.
